The newest UVM Cat’s Meow EP “Don’t Take It Purrsonal” is officially available on all streaming platforms! Go have a listen! 🐈‍⬛💜

The first photo was taken at the beginning of my second semester in the Cat’s Meow. 2022… like holy moly it feels like yesterday but also that was forever ago! Now, here we are four years and two EPs later!

This project was curated in not one, but two, of my college apartments. As a group, we embraced the opportunities to spend time together and turned every recording session into an occasion, bringing each other coffee and matcha, bouncing ideas off of one another, gathering on my bedroom floor for warmups, some of us even met for the first time recording in my bedroom. (Shoutout @lucy.bleu.palmer @sarahjdangel @isa.bella.mor ) Junie can just barely be heard in the background and she was in fact the star of the show. I got a kick out of editing her “meow” out each and every time. 🐈‍⬛

I’m so glad that we have a tangible product to showcase everyone’s hard work both in and out of rehearsal and I am so so so so so grateful to have been given the opportunity to record my wonderful friends’ voices. The entire recording, editing, and mixing process felt so special, and as amazing as every in-house arrangement is on it’s own, they are something else altogether when sung as a collective <3

It was even more wonderful to have the honor of working with @jules_rangel at @tankrecording studio for the mastering process. I learned so much from her and Ben during my internship and live recording events. It was beyond cool to share my work with her in the studio for an afternoon, take notes on her process, and see the final product come together in real time!

I love the cat’s meow SO much and I am so excited for more projects and wonderful concerts in the future! It is looking very bright :) 🌞✨

AUDITION FOR UVM A CAPPELLA!!

We will be holding auditions for all 5 a cappella groups next week on September 14th and 15th. You will hear all groups sing and then have the opportunity to audition for as many as you would like. Come prepared with a verse and chorus! We’d love to see you there!

what a beautiful year it’s been (aside from the political fuckery, of course). this year i’ve truly realized what it’s like to LIVE, and i can’t give enough thanks to the lovely people both above and outside of this post who have helped me get to where i am today (instagram won’t let me tag more than 20 people but i PROMISE if i knew you this year you’re included). i’ve found so much love throughout these 365 days and i am so so happy to be bringing it all into 2026. thank you again to everyone that’s loved and/or been loved by me this year, happy new years 🎉❤️
