I stood by this sign for an embarrassingly long time trying to keep a picture of me by the video display of the show I'm directing.

The sensory friendly show Saturday at 2:00 is almost sold out, but the evening show still has some capacity and I do have an invite to our preview night. It's password protected but it's free. I would love to see you there!

And just like that… the curtain has fallen on Snow White. ❄️

What a weekend.

To every person who joined us at the @uvunoordacenter, brought their family, invited a friend, shared a post, cheered from the audience, or simply followed along with us here — thank you. 🤍

A production like this takes hundreds of people behind the scenes and an entire community in front of the curtain. Our dancers poured their hearts into this story, and you gave them something just as important in return: an audience to share it with.

From the first note to the final bow, you made this fairytale come alive.

What was your favorite moment from Snow White? 👇🏼

Some journeys are easier when we don’t walk them alone. ✨

There’s a certain resilience that grows stronger with each choice we make to keep going — a lesson that Snow White and our dancers can attest to.

Despite any obstacles that may arise or voices that try to discourage them, they never give up - staying true to themselves and their dreams.

And the best part? They’re not alone. ✨

As Snow White ventures into the Enchanted Forest, her kindness and courage continually attract new friends — including the Woodsmen, Forest Sprites, and more! Throughout her journey, they encourage her, especially in moments when the path ahead feels uncertain, and give her the strength to keep moving forward.

Similarly, our community does the same for us. 🩵

Whether you’re joining us in the audience, engaging with us online, donating to support our dancers and sensory-friendly performances, or volunteering your time and talents as a board member, we are so grateful for the people who surround UMB and help us keep moving forward. 🤍

Tonight is for you — and for every person who has ever been someone’s reason to keep going.

Thank you for being part of our story. 🩵
