Kabul has a special place in my heart, said Hooman Tavakolian, sports and peace ambassador (@hoomanities )

In 2019, with the help of the US Wrestling family we were able to rebuild a wrestling gym bombed by terrorist in Kabul, the Maiwand Wrestling Club.

Our prayers go out to to all of our Afghan brothers and sisters.

#mondaymotivation @afearnsi turned in a gritty performance at the 2021 Poland Open, winning WFS 53kg🥉with a clutch 2-1 victory over 2019 World bronze medalist Ekaterina Poleshchuk of Russia. Amy went 2-1 in her final international tournament of the summer.
•
At 76kg, @_dymondprecious fell just short of a medal, finishing in 5th place after a tough 7-4 defeat against 2016 Olympic Champion @eweebz of Canada. The future is bright for our women’s freestylers, just over 2 months to go until the 2021 World Team trials! #wrestlewarsaw #stayhungryformore
