From the 10 year old Calem at Football Forward you could see the passion and spirit.
Then he joined the Academy and that continued- scoring goals, killing people with skill, and being stubborn.
Then he said he wanted to study in America so we opened the door to Blackrock Academy.
Finally that led him to my hometown and NC State University.
Calem has been crazy supported (spoiled) in that time! You’ve never seen a foreign kid with so many fans. Thanks to all my people for embracing him.
I loved getting the pics of my friends AND family attending games, having him over, or taking him out somewhere. What a blessing you’ve been to him.
@_calemtommy, you’ve broken another barrier for @ubuntufootball players by being drafted by the @houstondynamo. Don’t let up now. Keep that passion and spirit pointed in the right direction.
Thanks for letting me be part of the journey.
I look forward to watching what God might do with the next stage.

3. Finally seeing Ubuntu boys play in USA.
4. Time spent in Southampton with Ubuntu studs.
5. Kieren wins her first football tournament with school.
6. First USA Grad, Luto, is back home for good.
7. Kieren brings in the awards.

Being with Uzayr and Jordan again in Southampton was such a great encouragement of how important our work with Ubuntu Football is. They are representing Ubuntu, their families, and South Africa so well in such a unique place. I’m so proud of them!
