Kicked off the 1st weekend of fall visiting @liveoakcanyon pumpkin patch with the family! 🧡🎃🙌🍂

And despite it being such a wholesome day and evening, my heart ached trying to comprehend how it's Fall again 🍂😭😭 it honestly feels like I was just here yesterday with my 5-month-old! except now we were back with my soon-to-be 17-month-old! 😭😭😭 How!!???

Seeing how much she's grown since last year's visit really has me wishing i could slow down time 😭🥺🥲😭🧡

Nonetheless, it was a beautiful day spent together 🧡🍂✨️ & we're looking forward to all fall festivities this month! 🤎🫶🎃🍎

Volunteer Spotlight: Miss Victoria Garcia 🤎

We met during my undergrad at UC Davis, while looking for a roommate and she quickly became the kind of person I think everyone should know. She is truly one of the most resilient women I know. She handles everything with so much grace, it’s unbelievable. Especially when you sit down and really get to know her and everything she takes on. I’ve always admired how she handles life’s challenges, and still continues to show up for her friends and herself. She is the ultimate self-care baddie and one of the funniest, smartest, and caring people you can come to know. She’s wise and has always been someone who’s advice I really looked for and respected

I’m so happy to have had her help early on when I started this project. She was the first person to say “yes, let’s do it” when we did our first event in San Francisco earlier this year. Besides her, there was only a couple of strangers I had met through Reddit who said they’d help, but I obviously had anxiety about who would actually show up. I don’t know if she’s realized this yet, but she gave me all the confidence I needed to go ahead and execute this even if it was just me and her 😂

I am forever thankful to her for the ways she shows up for me as a friend and for this cause. She just graduated with her Master’s in Public Health Nutrition from UC BERKELEY🔥🔥🔥 and is now completing her dietician internship and studying for her certification exam, so please congratulate her and wish her luck! 💗💗💗

My beautiful badass of a sister graduated with her MASTER'S in Public Health Nutrition from University of California, Berkeley! 🥳🎓🐻💙💛👩‍🎓🏛💪🙌🎉

And somehow, she made it look effortless!
Literally don't know how she did it —or how she does it! She worked, was part of a salsa dance team and club, made some beautiful new friendships, kept a social life outside of school, made time for the gym and her healthy meal preps, baked goodies for her neighbors, and still made sure to excel academically! 🫠🫠🫨🤯😵‍💫😵🥵🫪

How she did it all!? Surely by the grace of God, countless hours of studying, and a level of hard work and determination that never ceases to amaze me. 🙉🩷🥳

Congratulations, beautiful sister!!!! So proud of you!!!!! You make academic life look soooo fun and majestic! 🥳🫶✨️🥹 Can't wait to see all the good you'll do with your well-deserved degree. 🥳🥹😭💛💙
