This is the one, big, official V2lab Mystery Meat 7 flyer! Huge shoutout to all our amazing sponsors and vendors (I’ll be dropping some individual flyers soon & driver flyers soon too!) If you haven’t signed up to camp be sure to get a ticket online - the camping is a ton of fun! This year pricing goes as follows for entry: $30 to camp (includes entry to the event) $20 general admission (kids 10 and under are free) Music & Entertainment provided by @lkqcorp and hosted by @djrincon1 !! Our Headline dj this year is @trayze We’ve got Free Drag Racing (with price of admission to the event) provided by @realstreetperformance - so if you’ve never had a chance to take your car down the strip - here’s you’re sign! We’ve got free drift ride alongs (with price of admission the event) provided by @sorcery.usa x @oswdrift and a gang of our most amazing local Florida drivers! Track goes hot at 9am! @atlanticstreetmovement returns this year again with their Get Low invitational event within our event & to top off the party @swrv.us will be hosting the “swerv fete” (fete means celebration or party) We will have helmets provided from last year by @holleyperformance for the drift ride alongs —- you need to be 18 or older to sign for yourself or 16-17 you can have parent or guardian sign for you or if you need to download the waiver have it notarized and brought with you to the track day of the event - that’s available in the link in bio @orlandospeedworlddragway is event cohost for the MM7 and if you’ve never been to the track before - be sure to check out their page for upcoming major drag racing events & drifting! I've gotten a lot of questions lately asking "What is the Mystery Meat" & Why did you spell it "Meat" --- so if you want to read a little story; here we go. Also don't expect the best grammar - i am typing like i talk. Back in 2002-2003 time; I attended an event called Tuner Bash in Daytona Beach, FL - it was thrown by Super Street (other big magazines).. on the other side of the beach was Spring Break Nationals (low-rider/audio show) during spring break weekend. It was insane. Everyone was there - everything was there and it was virtually free (the show wasn't but to walk around was). Every kind of car, every kind of person,... esp girls were there! (haha) Anyways, it was the best show experience you could ask for because it included everyone. Fast forward like 10 years; I started throwing around the idea of throwing my own event - my friend @djrincon1 knew a spot and suggested we have a bbq guy there making food for the whole event. We called it "The Big Meat" (we're immature - ya know?) anyways, that event was nuts; we had like ~1500 cars, 5000 people, and it was mindblowing (i owe a lot of credit to big blogs sharing the flyer too). Anyways, at that meet, we were talking in passing about how we should throw an event downtown... so? in the spirit of the impossible - i tried. My friend X applied for permits, we got permits. I started inviting everyone - Every shop, every homie, everyone.. All free, I said i'll foot the bill because this is going to be nuts; Every vendor spot was free; Entry was free, Parking was just "find a spot in downtwon & pay the city to park there" type of vibe. We shut downtown, down. The city estimated 30k or so people attended. The following year, the mayors office appointed us a team to do another meet. The businesses made so much money that year they demanded we come back. Boom, year 2, MM2 happens, it was crazy; i brought out GrindtimeNow Battle League, I brought out live art/graffiti, I brought out DunkXchange (which at the time was the biggest shoe show), & we brought out every big shop you can think of. It was nuts. The next year was the MM3; That was the last year of downtown because they were slated to start construction on
