Words cannot express how awesome it was to have a comp hosted at my home gym @rvpkgresham this weekend…
Our whole local community coming together to share two days of nonstop parkour love was truly something special.
Thank you again @r2_lanagan @_adam_krug @joshhanlonpk & the rest of the team for making this happen! It went so well and the vibes were perfect and chill the whole time <3
This was my style line for the second day of the comp^^^
I’m very happy with how it went.
& after that are the clips I got of participating in the skills event. I didn’t get much recorded because I honestly didn’t do much lol. I only did the challenges I knew my foot would be 100% fine with so there were a lot I didn’t even attempt. I’m happy I got one level 5 challenge at least (the last clip of the crimp 180 cat into the skinny thread underbar 180).
(I skipped out on the speed event entirely for my foot too, I still can’t sprint without pain)
But, I ended up getting 3rd in both events and got to podium & qualify with the homies @joshhanlonpk & @gdubtheballer !!
On the youth day (the first day) I got to judge the youth style event with these two as well and it was a blast. Seeing all the youth, teen, and adult athletes alike throw down for all three events on both days was amazing and I’m still in awe of it all.

Sunday (the Father’s Day one, not the yesterday one), we celebrated @justmattschulfer. Homemade biscuits and gravy. Cubs game. Cubs puzzle. Candy. Traditional collage. Then a bit-o-golf with V and pal Hayden before grilling steaks.

Matty, you’re a pretty okay human (okay… actually you’re an exceptional dad, teacher, coach, and mentor), ya know that? We love you! 💜🤘⚾️⛳️🖕🍻🥩

Lots of reflecting, family time, and even solitude lately.

Draimen would have turned 18 on May 23. Would she be set to graduate soon, or would she have already graduated? Would she have gone to prom? Would she have chosen an entirely different path and already be kicking ass out and about in the world?

Mother’s Day and Momming for 21+ years. What a trip it’s been. Saben and Vedder, I love you beyond measure.

Beach getaway with Matty and the girls. Laughter and sleep and tons of sandy walks. Matt, I could not have a better partner in life. Thank you for unconditionally loving our family and me.
