MOE PIZZA IS COMING!!🍕✨️

It's funny how a conversation with a friend about her job in 2021 bloomed into the show that is now Moe Pizza. Once the idea germinated, in 2023 I just knew it was something I had to go after. I believed in the vision so much.

Personal brainstorming sessions turned into writers' room with the best writers I know . With some help from my friend Stacey, we were able to do a casting call and get production rolling summer 2023. Most of this production is produced Bowie State Alumni.

We went on to create so many wonderful memories on set as a team. I had an impeccable cast and crew. It truly felt like family. Its an experience I wouldn't trade it for the world.

With this being my first film production the past couple of years have been such a huge learning curve. After navigating a lot of obstacles and insecurities , I feel like I'm ready to release this project to the world.

I can truly say I'm absolutely proud of what I've created. It truly reflects my love for the artistry that is filmmaking. In the future, I will believe wholeheartedly my ideas and embrace the course that comes with manifesting them. No more overthinking.

With that being said , I'll be posting the proof of concept tomorrow night, releasing my baby to the world. I'm ready to see how its received and what can come next from it. Thanks for your patience and support. I hope you enjoy!💕✨️

5 YEARS AGO TODAY; 2/17/2021: @earth222shae comes home with an DDJ-400, that I didn’t think it was for me at first…little did she know that she would permanently alter the course of my life. From making mixes, to doing my best impression of Chopped n Screwed music (bad but I tried my best).

2022: To @vaaleezy inviting me to studio sessions in Baltimore, meeting @tromac, @spunbysun at The Crown, learning all the history of the space and getting to play there myself.

2023: Mixes with no plays, Kinz and a handful of others bring the only few in the room for me while I did my set, it was all practice. A summer with no gigs, almost gave up on being a DJ, until a Beach party that revitalized my spirit.

January 2024: Tromac invites me to this random abandoned ass office in the middle of the city, says it’s an artists workshop type thing called @teamphlote I said aight bet. Little did I know, this would become the catalyst for me to become who yall know me as today.

From the places I’ve been, the faces I’ve seen, the conversations I’ve had and the days I’ve spent stressing about shit going right have all been worth it. The last 5 years of my life have given me purpose and cleared my vision. I know what I want outta this thing here, and I hope yall stick by me through these next 5.

I love yall. I love Baltimore City. I LOVE CLUB MUSIC.

Lived a full lifespan these past few years & the luv never faltered. Moments of magic are in plain sight and I’ll continue to let my intuition guide me for what’s to come. Sending love to all that’s came, went, here, and to meet. Always supporting from afar 🤞🏽
