I had the best time at the Ultimate PAC Challenge this week! @pac.collective I had so much fun at the convention classes and performing my solo on a nationals stage for the first time. I am so proud to announce that I placed 2nd overall in the teen pre-professional category out of 83 amazing solos. Thank you so much @natalieartman_dance for choreographing this amazing solo! Also a big thanks to @elevation_dance_studio for supporting my dance journey. What a great way to end this week, and I can’t wait for next week @dancersinccomp nationals! 💕💕

The Wizard of Oz, performed by the BMSA Drama Club.

There really is no place like home when it comes to theater. Getting the opportunity to play the "Great and Terrible" Wizard in the theater where it all started was not what I expected, but was what I needed. My director trusted me with this character and let me run with it and I couldn't be more proud with how it turned out (even if my wizard was a bit more unconventional).

The skills I learned from this show are some of my most proud. Not only did I learn to puppeteer a giant mask (without breaking it, dropping it, or causing permanent muscle damage), but I supervised the young actors in my first crew role as an Assistant Stage Manager/Production Assistant for the actors. Working with the new kids has been an absoloute highlight of the experience, and I can't wait to see them go far. I'm so excited to hopefully make my directorial debut in the spring and work with them more!

This has been one of our best shows yet. With humble origins and talent that radiates from the stage, BMSA Drama Club productions will always be where my heart belongs.

"There's no place like home." 🌈🌪💚✨️
