“Nee Venda” is Tamil for “I don’t want you”. I wrote this melody on my piano one evening when I realised that I’d been putting way too much into a relationship that didn’t have a future. Being born in Coimbatore and brought up in Mumbai, I have a special connection with both Tamil and Hindi. And I’ve always wanted to push my limits and emote in more languages than just one.
