Tbilisi birthday turtle train run

We gathered in Mestia for the Ultra @traillabrace — a weekend of distances from 6 to 100km, wild trails, and 6400m max elevation gain.

Our MRC Tbilisi @mrctbilisi crew showed up in every way: running, supporting, cheering, pacing, pouring the best isotonic, and hugging finishers like family.

Special awe for Fira @firs5 — 17:24:12 on the brutal 100k course, 1st woman overall. She crushed it despite the struggle, finishing radiant with joy — a superwoman, an empathetic leader, the soul of this community.

Shoutout to Val @immalkou — 16:56:03, who took 3rd overall in the 100k. Quiet strength, relentless focus, and pure heart on the course.

We drove to the 75km aid station when the 100k runners had already been on the move for over 12 hours. Not because we had to — but because that’s what it means to belong. To show up when it matters.

Many of us ran shorter distances — 6k, 21k — and caught the trail fever, inspired by those who go further, higher, deeper.

I may not run 100k, but I’m here to witness, cheer, and capture the grit, beauty, and unity of it all.
 Trail gods walk among us.
