Sure I enjoy teaching Siva Samoa. I love the heck out of it…but THIS is my happy place. I love arranging both the music as well as the vocal styling for our sets. When people ask for Manuia to perform at their event(s)…I hesitate and think it through because when we take on a gig or event, I spend hours, days and even weeks creating our sets. I find music that I feel meshes well together…Customize the lyrics so that they are appropriate and add a personal/sentimental feel to the event…I’m on the phone for hours with my musicians figuring out the best keys to play songs in & then we go into band practice where I get to work with our singers. It’s time consuming and often frustrating, but so rewarding because at the end of the day, I’ve been blessed with the gift and love for LIVE MUSIC. I’m so grateful for every musician and singer that agrees to help Manuia because it isn’t an easy thing to do…especially when my arrangements come with all sorts of twists, turns, modulations, bussdowns & breakdowns to accompany over 21 formation changes lol I do my best to prepare for every rehearsal because the best way to respect your musicians is to have your shit together and make sure you KNOW your music. #ManuiaMusic #ViiOSailele #SivaSamoa
