I don’t just show up with a curling iron and a can of texture spray.

No ma’am. 💅🏽

When I say I bring the bridal hair experience to YOU, I mean it.

My table. My chair. My Glamcor light. My entire bridal hair kit. All packed onto my big girl wagon and brought straight to your getting-ready space. 😂

Because your wedding morning should be about enjoying every moment, not worrying about what your hairstylist needs to get the job done.

That’s MY job.

This time, your girl brought the entire KBA bridal hair experience to The Arrabelle at Vail Square in Vail, Colorado.

You get to enjoy your wedding morning, make memories, and get excited about marrying your person.

I’ll handle the hair side of it. 💅🏽

And if THIS sounds like your kind of wedding morning, I’d LOVE to be your bridal hairstylist.

💌 2027 Colorado bride? Only 18 wedding dates left before my books are FULLY BOOKED! Head to the link in my bio to inquire before another bride snatches your date.

When in Vail, Colorado…

It’s important to explore the landscape.

Hiking, biking, and yes, fine jewelry and watches, as well.

Vail is a mountain town that invites people from around the world to come and explore it’s beauty and everything it has to offer.

And if you live in Colorado, Vail offers a shopping selection that you won’t find in Denver, or sometimes in the Midwest altogether.

There’s no better time to see the Rocky Mountains flourish than right now, while the leaves are turning yellow, orange, and red.

Plan out the 2 hour drive from Denver to Vail this weekend and see what people from around the world come to Vail for.

One of the best ways to see Vail? Two wheels. 🚲🍂

The Gore Valley Trail stretches 12 miles from Dowd Junction to East Vail, connecting parks, open spaces and Vail’s villages along the way.

Paved, multi-use and easy to access — especially hard to beat in the fall. 🍁

Day 31/93: Interval-run day—and officially one-third of the way through training!

When I was 20, I broke my femur skiing. I ended up in the ICU and left the hospital with four screws and a titanium rod in my leg.

Then came relearning how to walk—and discovering the random nuances of having a rod in your femur. My leg hurts before it rains, occasionally has strange spasms and has never felt exactly the same.

But I was an avid runner in college, so once my leg felt strong, I rushed to start running again. Years passed, a half-marathon happened and I continued ignoring a nagging feeling around that knee and leg.

When I eventually stepped away from running and embraced lower-intensity training, the discomfort mostly stopped being relevant.

Then came HYROX—and running returned in full force.

So did that stupid, nagging feeling.

I did what I’ve done throughout this training process: I described the exact sensation to AI—not for a diagnosis, but to help me think through the possibilities. IT band issues and the usual running complaints didn’t quite match.

Then it occurred to me: Wait…I have a rod and four screws in this leg. Could my old injury be affecting how I run?

I can’t confirm whether it’s the hardware, a subtle alignment difference, an old compensation pattern or something else without being properly assessed. But I tried one simple adjustment: shorter, quicker steps instead of reaching forward with a longer stride.

And voilà—no strange feeling or pain during this run.

One pain-free run doesn’t prove I solved the mystery, but it gave me a useful clue—and a reminder that something I’ve barely considered for 19 years may still matter.

Now I have to retrain my brain to remember those smaller steps. But concentrating on them also made my pace more consistent and helped me practice the steady breathing that lowers my heart rate faster.

That, however, is a story for another day.

Day 31/93: interval runs done—and one-third of the way there! 🔩

THANK YOU to everyone that made it out to this seasons last GGRIT ADOPT-A-TRAIL crew day on Game Creek Trail!
The leaves may be changing, but our dedication and love for our trails NEVER FADES!

It’s been incredible rewarding to spend a few Saturdays digging in the dirt, rebuilding trail integrity, spending time with close friends and meeting new ones. You can’t help but feel pride in a couple hours of hard work and feel more connected to the land and to community!

THANK YOU @vvmtatrails and @neuwirth26 for giving me the opportunity to do more and support VVMTA! ❤️

Of course shout out to @wildmountaincellars for Dirty Apres Sangria and @rockymountaintaco for taco recovery!
