Some films don’t need to reinvent the wheel. They simply need the right people behind it to make the ride enjoyable.

Watch Triple Decker now on @manoramamax

This one is a lovely example of how different departments can come together and complement each other. From the performances of Akhil Sreekumaran, Vaishnavi, Gowri Kutty, and the fresh new cast, to the writing by Krishna Poojappura & Krishnanunni Mangalath, every element finds its place naturally.

What makes it even more special is that this is an indie project pulled together through passion, commitment, and genuine team effort. You can feel that spirit in the final product , a group of people coming together and making the most of what they have.

Krishnanunni Mangalath’s direction and editing maintain a smooth rhythm, while Aadhin S & Midhun Mohan’s cinematography gives the film its visual character. JS Gokul’s music and background score blend seamlessly with the film, creating an immersive sonic layer.

Nothing feels unnecessarily loud, yet everything works together. A simple, warm Malayalam film carried by its people, its situations, and, most importantly, the collective effort behind the frame.

If I had waited for the perfect gear or the right budget, this movie would never exist. But the desire to create was bigger than our limitations. We embraced the chaos of guerrilla filmmaking, running around with iPhones and DSLRs, making this happen purely on our own terms.

This is my second feature film—a full 2-hour and 3-minute journey introducing incredible fresh faces both onscreen and off-screen. The trailer is live today, and we are landing on ManoramaMAX soon!

To all independent and aspiring filmmakers dreaming of making a movie: stop waiting for the perfect setup. Use what you have in your hands right now. This movie is proof that it’s possible, and it is dedicated entirely to you. Check out the trailer! 😊❤️
