POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
I recently got the chance to be in the @vancitycu commercial. I got to step out of my shell and comfort zone and got rained on for the first time with a rain machine.

When I got the role, I was so excited because I'm also a Vancity memeber and have been one for over 4 years now.

I can't tell you how many times we had to do the take in the second slide, lol. I had to get rain directly in my eyes, but I kept blinking and ruining the shot. Take after take, cut after cut, but we finally got the perfect shot. The way I screamed and smiled when I saw it. I was so excited to see myself on screen, and I can't wait for you all to see me too.

Doing the commercial was so much fun, but even more than that, it reignited my passion for my craft. After a long period of self dought and self isolation, this felt like a win.

The concept was " Easy Call."
What's an easy call for you? An easy call for me, though it doesn't seem so easy at first is calling on my family and community. Even in my hermit mode, I've still had friends, family, and community members continue to reach out and show me love. Though it's hard for me to rely on others. Calling on the people who have been there for me in my hard times has taught me so much. Thank you to my friends, family, and community for making what's usually a hard call an easy call.
Thank you to Vancity for the opportunity to be a part of this commercial and campaign. I can't wait for everyone to see the photos/ Builboard
You heard me right. I said Builboard!!!!!🥳 so stay tuned!!!!

Very excited to share my music video for @austyngillette’s ‘Leaning into your Palms’ ! (link in bio)

I loved the song the minute I first played it. These sorts of instances of connection feel really special and rare. It lead me to some introspection, to a desire to express a vivid sentiment and to interpret it into something more impressionistic and lyrical than I had before. That felt really good. Working and connecting with so many new collaborators became such a joy. Very proud of this one and of all involved!

Huge love and thanks to Austyn for taking a chance and giving me full trust and freedom.
To @_jeremycox, for being such an indispensable ally and partner in getting this ambitious piece made.
Infinite love to @reboritas for fiercely diving into this one and not being afraid of getting deep into muddy trenches in producing this scrappy project (and also acting in it, I mean c’mon!)
Merci à @agatherousselle for flying over and sharing her immense talents with us.

Love and thanks to all the producing partners who came onboard this ride, as well as to the ENTIRE CAST AND CREW. I hope you know how deeply grateful I am to you all ❤️

Sharing the trailer for the short film “Master of the House” which will have its Canadian premier as part of the Vancouver International Film Festival this year. Some of my earliest childhood memories from growing up across the street from the Ridge Theatre were the flame searchlights from the opening gala shining through my bedroom window every fall. To say that having my first narrative project debut at this festival is special would be an understatement. There are so many people to thank for putting their time, effort, and energy into this project— so I have decided to share a little more about the process of making this film in the coming weeks to highlight the immense talent these folks possess. But for now, I want to share the full credit list of all those who made this possible. Tickets are available to purchase through the link in my bio! #viff #viff2023

Revealing the first of two posters for the short film “Master of the House”— a translation of the front of house term maître d'… perhaps a not so subtle hint that we made a restaurant drama, shot in one of the best restaurants in the city (more on that later) 😉 The poster features the jaw dropping work of designer @spencerpidgeon … this will be the last teaser without seeing footage, I promise! Maybe I sound like a broken record but I am SO excited to share more soon!
