We are excited to announce, Valdy Zephir, 6’9” Forward, from Southern Wesleyan University (NCAA Division II) has agreed to terms to play for BC Batumi (Georgia-Superleague). Valdy will also have the opportunity as a rookie to play FIBA Champions league qualifiers and possibly FIBA Europe Cup. Valdy is a true 3 level scorer that brings terrific size at his skillset with high-level athleticism. Valdy can put the ball on the floor and get to the mid-range, shoot it from 3 and finish strong at the rim. Defensively, he has versatility to guard 1-5.

Valdy finished his Senior season in 25/26 at Southern Wesleyan with 11 PPG, 5.2 RPG with a 34 3P%. Congratulations Valdy and we look forward to a great season ahead!

Valdy Zephir is a Senior 6’9 Forward for NCAA D2 Southern Wesleyan University averaging 11 ppg and 6 rbg while shooting 47% from the FG and 37% from 3. He had outstanding performances against King University where had 24 pts 9 rebs and Bob Jones posting 21 pts and 7 rebs. Valdy showcased his ability to shoot beyond the arc and make tough mid range jumpers while also finishing at the rim with authority making him tough to guard. Don’t sleep on him😤📈.
