Worked with Agape Christian Church International on an inspiring art project I call, “Beautiful Little Things.”

I was given a box filled with discarded items like ribbon, glass, jars, rocks, glitter, flower petals, and more. We made use of these items and created 3 different projects. It’s amazing how we can be seen as useless but still can be used.

Just love seeing the smiles when we deliver our mobile planting boxes 📦

The Urban Forest Project is identifying
the causes of hunger and making food more available through food forests in lower income communities. Our goal is to help people adapt to climate change by reducing the Tucson Heat Island Effect by caring for our soil, planting edible trees and shrubs-a Food Forest. So far, in our low income housing community, we’ve
reduced energy consumption by 25-50% by retrofitting an existing home with energy efficient windows and appliances.

We had a great job fair at the Dunbar Pavilion on Saturday. Anyone who wanted/needed a job, was able to get a job. We have more to come.

The November 23rd Private Art Reception was purely amazingly. Some of my most favorite peoples got dressed up and came on out. Don’t feel bad if you could not come, there was limited seating due to earth’s illness. We were acknowledging the things and ones we have lost along the way.

What or whom have you lost?

Ok, we were determined to make a composting toilet. We had some fun along the way, and got it all put together.-buckets, toilet seat, saw dust, and tape. We even put it up higher for people who can’t squat that low. No worries, it was a new toilet seat, and there was no smells. Think it’s kinda icky? The icky part are the low water levels at Lake Mead and the Colorado River, our water source 💦 . We have to be intentional about saving water. Just something to think about.
