Yesterday I had a big realization after going through a season in life where I wanted to walk just like Jesus walked and struggled so much because while Jesus was perfect.. he was also human.. as are we

There will be times we stumble in our walk with the Lord. Times we mess up, swear too much, maybe drink a little too much, go back to something or someone we’re not supposed to. Times we fall into laziness, spiral into depression or anxiety and forget that our Heavenly Father’s love can pull us out. Dance a little too provocatively. Fall into gluttony. Even hurt someone when we don’t mean to.

And that’s okay.

Why? Because we are all sinners who are forgiven when we know and accept that Jesus took it all — and that we will never be as perfect as Him. But we have the chance to be better every single day because of the sacrifice He made.

Being Christian and living a faith-centered life isn’t about being perfect. It’s about knowing that we’re not, accepting it, and knowing that others aren’t perfect either — and loving them anyway, the way Christ did and still does. Taking the steps every day, even when we mess up, to live, love, and correct as He did.

The first two steps to changing the quality of your life:

1. Accept that we’re not perfect and that Jesus gives us grace and an opportunity every single day to right our wrong doings

2. Find community that loves you with every imperfection — and grows in Christ with you. 🤍

Sometimes all you need is a friend, a task, and God. 🤍

The kind of deep friendship that calls you higher, humbles you with love, and brings you closer to Him.

Not just laughs… but growth.
Not just support… but purpose.

Grateful for these friendships that are beautiful answered prayers. ✨
