✨ GOLD TEXTURED CEILINGS | GARRION BRIDGE ✨

A look back at one of our luxury residential projects near Lanark, where we installed three bespoke textured gold ceilings and decorative finishes to the bar area.

Now that the property is fully furnished, it’s great to see how everything has come together! 👌🏼

Each ceiling was individually hand-applied to create a unique textured finish, with natural movement and depth that really comes to life under the warm recessed LED lighting.

The combination of gold finishes, bespoke lighting and contemporary interior design makes this a real statement space.

Luxury finishes, handcrafted with attention to every detail. ✨

🔴✨ PROJECT THROWBACK | UNION TERRACE GARDENS, ABERDEEN ✨

One from the archives that we never got round to sharing!

A few years back, we had the pleasure of carrying out this incredible Venetian plaster installation at Union Terrace Gardens in Aberdeen.

This was a particularly challenging and bespoke project, featuring unusual shapes, sweeping curved walls and intricate detailing throughout.

Our work included the initial plastering and preparation of the surfaces before applying Deep Red and Chestnut Brown Venetian plaster, finished with striking gold bands running continuously around the curved structures.

The entire installation was then hand-polished to achieve that beautiful, high-gloss, mirror-like finish. 🔥

The combination of the rich colours, gold detailing and architectural curves made this a truly unique project and one we’re incredibly proud to have been involved in.

We had originally planned to share professional photographs once the project was fully completed, but unfortunately never received them.

So rather than let this one sit in the archives any longer, here’s a look at the work we carried out during construction!

The GMac Cup 2026 ⛳️🏆

On Friday, the Valenco team swapped the trowels for golf clubs and came together for a brilliant day in memory of Graeme MacGregor, a former colleague, mentor to many within Valenco, and father of our Director, Blair. ❤️

Graeme played a special part in the Valenco story and is very much missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing and working alongside him.

Plenty of laughs, some questionable golf, healthy competition and, most importantly, everyone together remembering Graeme.

A great day for a great man. ❤️

Coffee & Cars with Urban Pods & McLaren Glasgow. ☕️🏎️

A morning bringing together incredible cars, great people and beautifully designed spaces.

It was a pleasure to be invited along to the Urban Pods showroom for such a brilliant event, meet so many people and get a closer look at some incredible McLarens.

And, of course, it was lovely to see the new CinePod being enjoyed on the day. 👀

A huge thank you to Urban Pods for having us 🙌

A home packed with colour, texture and personality ✨

For this project, we used bespoke plaster finishes to complement the bold interior choices already running throughout the property.

In the kitchen, warm earthy tones work beautifully alongside the deep red cabinetry, exposed brick and statement green walls. The Microcement worktop and island introduce even more texture while helping bring the different colours and materials together.

Elsewhere, we created a completely different atmosphere with a soft, concrete-inspired finish across the walls and ceiling. Paired with dark details and black-and-white artwork, it creates a raw, understated backdrop with plenty of natural movement.

We love projects like this that show bespoke plaster doesn’t have to mean neutral or minimal. it can work just as well in colourful, character-filled homes.

Another fantastic project working alongside @teriantilston_interiordesign .

It’s always a pleasure being involved in Terian’s projects and having the opportunity to contribute specialist finishes to such carefully considered interiors. A huge thank you for continuing to trust Unico Venetian to help bring your vision to life.

Working with interior designers is a big part of what we do. We understand that the finish is only one element of a much wider design, which is why collaboration is so important to us.

From developing bespoke samples and refining colours and textures, through to the final hand-applied finish, we work closely with designers to ensure every surface complements their overall vision and feels completely considered within the space.

We’re proud to be a trusted specialist for designers looking to introduce unique, tactile and truly bespoke finishes into their projects.

And it’s always especially rewarding to hear such fantastic feedback from the people we work alongside.

For interior designers, architects and studios looking for a specialist finishes partner for an upcoming project, we’d love to hear from you.
