Much respect to @imjustpargo for launching @pargoproductions and producing The Final Play.

Stepping into a new lane is one thing. Actually putting the team, money, time, and discipline behind it is something different.

Takes a vision, ton of courage, and one hell of a team.

The Final Play is streaming now on Tubi, Apple TV, Youtube TV, and other platforms.

People see the thing.
But the system behind the thing is what matters.

People see the event. They don’t see the years of relationship building that made it possible.

People see the promotion. They don’t see the reputation that earned it.

People see the property. They don’t see the ownership structure.

People see the engagement. They don’t see the conversations, compromises, and commitment that sustain the relationship.

People see the business. They don’t see the processes, partnerships, and infrastructure holding it together.

The visible thing gets the attention.

The invisible thing creates the outcome.

These moments are a good example.

Our first event was a brunch in 2018 at The Ludlow House in NYC… self-funded by me and my co-founder. Just 24 women.

No sponsors. No team. No playbook.

Just the belief that community matters and a willingness to do the work.

The following year, we curated 7 events in 5 cities, hosting hundreds of attendees and growing our listserv to more than 5,000 people.

Most people would look at that growth and assume it came from social media, marketing, or luck. The reality is much less exciting.

It came from relationships.

Showing up consistently.

Following up (a lot).

Making introductions.

Creating value before asking for anything in return.

That’s why I’m increasingly interested in architecture over aesthetics and optimizing everything for longevity.

Because beautiful things fail every day when the structure underneath them is weak.

But strong systems create consistent results long before anyone notices them.

P.S. Too many people to tag! Sorry if I forgot anybody. You can @ me 😬🥰

✨ August was filled with so many special moments. From 2 college move-ins a week apart, to my 46th birthday 🎉, to my baby boy turning 16, and in between all of that planning the celebration 🎊 of 10 years and 12 years of my business and foundation! August was a booked, busy, and blessed month indeed!!! ✨What started as a vision became a reality. The Rucker Legacy Awards was more than an event — it was a celebration of history, impact, and the power of community. Grateful to everyone who believed, supported, and helped bring this dream to life. This is just the beginning of a legacy that will continue to inspire.✨More to come…

Whether you realize it or not, every activation has a story, but ours starts way before we shoot a thing.

For @buildwithbia Sustainability Summit 2025 in Detroit, we spent 5 days planning, filming, and producing content for something that’s far bigger than an event.

It was about documenting the process, the people, and the purpose behind the movement.

From strategy to execution, we planned for months to make sure we covered every angle possible.

So we wanted to give a BTS look at our site visit and share some of what went into the..

Pre-production process..

Overall creative strategy and vision…

And deploying a team of more than 15+ people for 5 days of non-stop shooting that included daily real-time edits for social, docu-style storytelling, and a bank of content that will last for months to come.
