OBX season 5 is now streaming!! I’m so thankful for every show I’ve had the privilege to be a part of but this one is very special to me because it’s symbolic of my life for the past 6 years. In early 2020 covid hit and flipped my life upside down. I, like everyone else was stuck at home with a lot of doubt about the future. Stuck at home, I stumbled upon a little show called @obx and immediately fell in love. It was the perfect escape. I spent my days in lock down wishing I was living the “Pogue Life” in “Paradise on Earth”. As fate would have it, a few months later an opportunity to move to coastal North Carolina with family fell into my lap. I moved out to Wilmington North Carolina as the world was just starting to open back up. Not long after moving, as fate would have it again I happened upon a Facebook post for a Netflix show (Echoes) looking for extras. I applied and spent my first day on a Film Set and immediately knew that this is what I wanted to do. While working as an extra on Echoes, I met @johnnybamond , who gave me a chance and I spent my first day working on the set of The Righteous Gemstones as a PA. That single day would lead to meeting so many incredible people and to every other job I’ve been blessed to have, and it would eventually lead me to the opportunity to have worked on parts of 3 seasons of Outer Banks. Going from daydreaming about living the “Pogue life” to being on set and watching the First AD call series wrap on such an incredible cast and crew is truly one of the most full circle and surreal moments of my life. I’m forever grateful for this show as It’s a huge reason I’m where I am to this day. Outer Banks season 5, what a freakin ride! #P4L #OBX5 #poguelife #outerbanksnetflix
