Why Some Brands Look Good But Don’t Convert, Swipe 👉 I’ve noticed something working with and observing a lot of businesses. They invest in branding, clean logo, nice colors, solid visuals. But once you land on their product, you start asking questions: - Am I on the right website? - Did I download the right app? - What am I supposed to do here? - Where do I click? - Why does this feel harder than it should be? That moment right there is where the brand starts losing trust. The product doesn't look like it's from the same brand and most times, it doesn't work the way people expect it to. These slides show how I’ve been approaching that gap: Starting with the brand identity -> Breaking the user experience down on paper -> Then translating it into actual screens people can use. Because for a founder, this isn’t just a design problem, it’s a business problem. Confusion affects: • Conversions • Retention • How people perceive your brand • And eventually revenue You can’t separate brand from experience. If the product feels disconnected from the main brand and difficult, the brand feels unreliable. That’s what I’ve been focusing on more, making sure what you promise visually is exactly what users experience when they interact. Because at the end of the day, people don’t remember how your brand looked at first but they easily remember how easy (or hard) it was to use while your logo and visual branding becomes the identifier registered in their brain.

What Brand Identity Looks Like When It Leaves the Logo This is a behind the scenes look at a mobile app I designed and prototyped. But this wasn’t just about screens. It was about translating a brand into an experience. Because brand identity doesn’t stop at colors, type, or a logo system. That’s just the starting point. The real question is: What happens when someone actually uses your product? · Do they feel guided or lost? · Does it feel structured or scattered? · Does it build trust or create hesitation? That’s where branding either holds up or starts to break. While working on this, I wasn’t just thinking about layout. I was thinking about: · How the brand introduces itself in the first few seconds. · How onboarding reflects the brand’s tone and clarity. · How each step reduces friction or adds to it. · How consistency is maintained beyond visuals into behavior. Because consistency is not just visual, it’s experiential and that’s the part a lot of brands miss. You can have a strong identity, but if the product feels confusing or disconnected, people won’t stay long enough to remember it. This process pushed me to think beyond “how it looks” and focus more on “how it works” because that’s where the brand is truly experienced. This video is just a glimpse into that thinking.

Branding Is the Foundation But This Is Where It Gets Tested Every brand starts with identity. The logo, the colors, the system that makes you recognizable. That part is very important but what I’ve been paying closer attention to lately is what happens after that. I’ve been learning UI/UX for months now, and one thing has become very clear to me; A brand is not just what people see, it’s what they experience. And that experience can easily fall apart if it’s not properly thought through. Because you can have a strong identity, great visuals, even good messaging but if a user lands on your product and doesn’t know what to do next, the brand starts to feel confusing, disconnected and even forgettable. That’s why this stage matters so much. Sitting down and mapping out: - How a user comes in. - What they see first. - What they do next. - What feels easy. - What feels frustrating. This is the same thinking behind strong branding; Clarity, Structure and Intentional decisions just applied differently. This onboarding flow I sketched is messy, yes but it’s solving something important: “How do we guide someone from first interaction to understanding?” Because at the end of the day, whether it’s a brand identity, a product interface, or even a physical space, my job is the same: - Make things feel clear. - Make them make sense. - Make them work. Because a strong brand shouldn’t only look good, it should feel easy to use, easy to understand and hard to forget.

Why I Decided to Go Beyond Branding Since May, I’ve been quietly learning something new, UI/UX design. Not to switch paths but to deepen the one I’m already on. Because I started noticing something, a brand doesn’t stop at the logo, or the colors, or the identity system. It continues on the screen, on mobile, in interactions, in how people actually use what you’ve built. And if that experience breaks, the brand breaks with it. So I wanted to understand that layer better. - How design behaves, not just how it looks. - How users move, not just what they see. - How decisions on screen affect trust, clarity, and conversion. These screens are part of that process. Not perfect but intentional. Because for me, this isn’t about adding another skill, it’s about becoming more responsible for the full experience of a brand. From how it’s introduced, to how it’s experienced, to how it’s remembered. I'm still learning, still refining, still building but now with a wider lens.
