The Yashica Mat 124G was my first medium format film camera. It produced a 6x6 image, a square and this was an also a twin reflex lenses system, meaning when I took the picture, I saw everything in reverse.
Man this camera helped me so much developing my skill as a film photographer and with my vision. Not my actual sight but vision to trust the process and to believe the image I’m creating, even though I’m not seeing it how it should be, was correct.

This camera also forced me to get into the process of metering all of my shots, once the in camera meter broke on me. But in its defense, the camera’s over 50 years old.

These shots were taken in the years of 2022-2023, and traveled to some cool places with me like Alabama, Panama City Beach, The Linemen’s Rodeo in Kansas City to name a few.

Using @kodak @kodak_shootfilm Ektar 100, TMAX 400, Kodak Gold 200, and @ilfordphoto HP4 Plus film stocks.

𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫.
So much happened! Lots of highs. Lots of lows. Lots of photoshoots, community, reflecting, and resting. I love these recaps because they remind me how beautiful and fortunate my life has been.

Excited to see where this next month takes me.

Shoutout to the incredible extras who brought vibrant energy to every scene! 🌟✨
@lmjhinc @lowcarbcatallo @valswag520 & @kailag22 @angelchipscat @tinakbui @maxielauren

Little did you know, these talented individuals are not just any extras, but actually the director's amazing classmates. Their enthusiasm and support on set made the experience even more special. 🎥❤️

In our final piece, we didn't see one of our amazing friends Laurence, the actor who played the role of the hotel receptionist. However, without the support of friends like Laurence and other friends, we wouldn't have this compelling piece. Once again, thank you to Laurence and all the other friends for their participation.

One year since wrapping our movie, although we've dispersed to different corners of the world, pursuing our individual paths, the bond we forged remains unbreakable. Wishing each and every one of you the very best in your endeavors. Until we meet again on the road to greatness! 👋✨
