The Joy of the Lord is immense and I’m just grateful for these people! 4 months of laughter, hard work and dedication all for His kingdom only.

“And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her from the Lord.”
3 years ago I said yes to what I couldn’t have imagined to be my second home but God showed me through his people what truly means to dwell in His house forever.

SUMMER 2026 YOU WERE THE BEST ONE YET AND I’M THANKFUL FOR YOU🫶🏼

Dear Camp Ozark, Thank You!! 3 years ago God put this place in my life and I’ve never been more blessed. This place and these people are something special. I never would have thought a summer camp could be so rewarding but man was I wrong. Growing closer to the Lord and finding such a strong community while having fun is something I wish everyone could experience. The last 12 weeks have been nothing but joyful and I’m indebted to this place and these people. They have helped me find my purpose in life and now I get to carry them and the mission camp has taught me wherever I go. Missing Mt. Ida already because this place holds some great memories I will cherish forever. ❤️🤍

One interview. One “yes.” Three summers I’ll never forget.

Three years ago, I said yes to Camp Ozark, thinking I knew what I was signing up for.

I didn’t.

Not because camp wasn’t what I expected - but because God was doing something I never expected.

Somewhere between paint-covered clothes, chow hall cheers, dance parties, camper friends, and all the ordinary moments in between, God wasn’t just working through me. He was working in me.

These three summers stretched me, humbled me, deepened my faith, and reminded me that some of His sweetest work happens in the ordinary moments.

To every camper, coworker, leader, and friend who made Camp Ozark feel like home—thank you. You’ve left a mark on my life that I’ll carry with me for years to come.

I’ve realized that’s what “More Than a Summer” has always meant.

Not just the memories I made, but the person God was making me into.

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16
