Today's feature is RJ and his absolutely beautiful FC RX7, please go follow him on IG ( @Low_style_zero ). So per usual my first question was what did you own before your current car and RJ told us this. "Well, before this I was actually building a 1950 Chevrolet Fleetline, untill I realized that the build wasn't really going to plan, it was falling out of my price range pretty fast and school was coming up in a month, so my dad and I came up with a solution, I traded my Chevy for a 1998 Jeep Cherokee so I could either drive to school or sell it, a few days went by and the Jeep was sold, I had about $2000 in my hand, I was originally looking for a GT Mustang when I started watching Hot Version on YouTube, I was hooked on the low powered "underdogs" that could take incredible amounts of abuse and keep putting down faster and faster laps, so of course I start searching for an import, supras, corollas, skylines, etc. And basically I was hooked between a S13 and a Mk3 Supra, but my dad spotted this listing for a 1990 Rx7 on Craigslist, I took the chance and we went up to look at it, as soon as I watched the headlights pop up for the first time, I was sold on buying this car, didn't know anything about a rotary when I bought it, and now I've owned multiple, do I regret choosing this car? Never!" Man I wish a gem like that would fall into my lap! This car has a lot of inspiration behind it, some of those include, early 2000's D1GP style drift cars, Mitsuru Haruguchi, Hertrech Jr, Tomoya Suzuki, and the R Magic promo car. With that being said he is going in the right direction to follow those absolute legends. I also asked if there were any plans for the car in the near future and this was RJ's response. "I'm planning on going wide with the help of over fenders, 100mm rear and 90mm front to be exact, and building real 3p VSKFs to fill the gap, engine wise, I'm building a half Bridgeport 13B turbo to drop in when my stock engine finally gives out." So if I were you I would keep an eye on this car because its going to be a neck breaker REAL soon. -Austin Bratton
