My heart hurts to say that I played my last high school volleyball game today. Thank you so much @normanhighvolleyball for giving me my bestfriends in the world and my reason why. I cannot express my gratitude for these amazing young women for pushing me to be my very best every day. This season was so much more than just playing, these people have made a life long impact on me and I really couldn’t be more grateful for the time we had together, even though it will never be enough. It becomes so special to have more than just teammates by my side but I got to do it by all of my best friends. This team has accomplished so many amazing things and I feel so blessed to grow up surrounded by so much talent and perseverance. To my best friends, thank you for being such a huge part of my life and for making my volleyball experience so much more meaningful than just a game. Thank you for the laughs, the memories, the love, and all the little things you probably don’t even realize mean so much to me. I am beyond proud of each and every one of you, and I hope you never forget how loved you are. I will forever be thankful that I got to grow alongside you, and I wouldn’t trade these memories or these friendships for anything in the world. No matter what the future holds, a part of my heart will always belong to this team and the girls who made it feel like home. Volleyball may have brought us together, but the love I have for you guys is something that will always be so much bigger than the sport. I love you all more than words could ever explain, and I truly believe that some of the greatest blessings in my life have come from being able to call you my best friends.
