TWINK grew to lv. 27!
.
Early into turning 26 I felt abandoned, depressed, anxious and lost, but reflecting on the last year I am so incredibly grateful for the way I’ve focused on myself and the immeasurable support my friends have shown me. I reenrolled in school a year ago and have since maintained a 4.0 GPA, I’ve been working on my social anxiety and have met so many lovely people because of it and can even go get groceries by myself now, I got promoted at work, medicated for my ADHD, started exercising, and am getting better at realizing my worth after putting myself down for so long. I feel loved, cherished, and (sometimes) a baddie :3
.
From the bottom of my heart, truly the biggest thank you to everyone who touched my life in any way this past year. It’s meant so much to me and I only hope I can return the favor 🩵 besos mis amores

A first look at our 2 actors together! We did our Day 2 shoot at the beginning of August at a park in Oakland. It was a long and wonderful day. We all needed a break. Now we’re moving into post-production. I spent part of my Labor Day weekend putting together an Assembly cut. To do that, I went through all the footage, making notes on the takes I liked. Then I put them all on a timeline in the software. Next, I’ll be handing of all the footage to our editor who will make a rough cut. Another reason we’re moving to post-production now is that we’re apply to two grants. I’ll keep you posted. We do still have one more scene to shoot, which will likely happen in December when some of our crew is back from college. And - our monster maker needs to make and shoot the monster. Thanks for all your support! 🗡️🪵

Feeling proud of myself :’) ESCANDALO OUT @ 6PM
I was feeling down because I hadn’t made a film since college so I set a goal to make a music video in 2024. Music videos have always been my favorite, I can sit and watch them for hours - I love how random and mesmerizing they can be. Granted most of those videos have multimillion dollar budgets but I had a dream!!!! With the power of my amazingly talented friends, family, community, and my double Capricorn 🤣 we made something happen! 5 scenes for a 2 minute video LMAO My best friends were my collaborators and I love that I can say that - thank you for all of the hours yall put in for my silly lil project. Thank you for talking me down when I’d panic. Thank you Gem for trusting me. I love you all so much! I could CRY! I’m so excited to show yall how I’ve grown as a media maker in the last couple of years. Hopefully this leads to more music videos👀❤️‍🔥
