❤️ ¡A seguir adelante y brillando, mis estrellitas! 🌟 @vamonosusa 🌈 @tadinteas 💚 #Scholarship #RaicesDeExito #VamonosUSA #Tadin #Scholars

Latina Power is my mother, who raised my sisters and me with unwavering strength, resilience, and faith. It’s becoming the FIRST in my family to walk across a university stage w/ a double major, earning a college degree, and opening doors for my sisters. It’s using my voice and proudly speaking ESPAÑOL to become the #1 morning radio show in Los Angeles (General Market) proving that our language is not a limitation, but a superpower. It’s having the courage to bet on myself, build my own brand, and create something from the ground up, like my own production and broadcasting company-O&A Studios. It’s creating spaces where other Latinas can share their stories and shine, like Comadres Unfiltered Podcast. It’s never being afraid to embrace and celebrate my roots as an act of pride, identity, and even resistance. It’s having the financial freedom to buy my mother her first home, own a few others, invest in LATINA-owned companies like Lil’ Libros, and help build generational wealth. It’s writing and publishing not one, but two books, including 12 Grandes Dreamers, because our daughters deserve to see more Latina trailblazers reflected in the pages they read. It’s co-founding a nonprofit like Vámonos USA in the middle of a pandemic to serve our underserved communities. It’s turning gratitude into action by creating the Argelia Atilano Scholarship Foundation, empowering first-generation Latina students at my alma maters to pursue the college education they deserve. It’s receiving a prestigious Gracie Award after nearly 30 years of broadcasting, informing, uplifting, and advocating for our community. It’s being a proud girl from East L.A. who is now college touring with her daughters, knowing they, too, will lead the way for the generations that follow…continuing the legacy started by the strong MUJERONES in my family. Cami & Bella are dreaming BIGGER, will walk into every room with confidence, and continue breaking barriers that previous generations worked so hard to tear down. And one day, they’ll do the same for the Latina girls who come after them. That is Latina Power. Latina Power is all of US, and I’m honored to be part of it. 💗 #LatinaPower ✊🏼
