People! Our friend and fellow broadcaster, @haz33gram is in town so what a great occasion to host him showcasing the second release on his @vampire.vinyl label and the first one in the Homegrown series.

Homegrown is a monthly radio show built as a platform for discovery, curating unreleased gems, recent finds, and forward-thinking global dub, bass, and broken beats, all woven together across a wide pitch range.

This first compilation marks a natural extension of that ethos, translating the show’s sound into a tangible release and bringing together both fresh and established artists across the ambient, dub, and bass spectrum.

My selection for today's show at @blackrhino_radio within the special program for Hurricane Melissa Relief intended as a nonstop journey of sound, soul, and solidarity. Tune in this weekend for great music selected and mixed by truly gifted people.

An outernational selection spanning 5 decades of reggae and dub and my favourite artists. Each record has a story. I randomly found Sta in a corner recordshop in Poblenou while wandering in Barcelona, met the guy from Uus Energia in a random village shop in Estonia and discovered a new sound and scene, got the Pacha Man record from Rebel Music man Jahniny while his train stopped in Deva on the way to Arad, found those classics from a collection with annotations in a charity and others straight from the shop in Geneva stocking all Evidence records. Rubadub ✨️🇯🇲🙏🏻
