An incredible honor to play with these legends … @officialdaveweckl and @officialjohnmclaughlin @606club last night! It’s been a musical experience I’ll never forget. Also great to play with my monster musician friends @bertiefournier @vanagierig and @danreinstein. The best part is I get to do it again tonight on the same stage!

ℹ️ Alea iacta est - ὁ κύβος ἐρρίφθη

In the second half of September I will go to Kephalonia, after some years I was thinking about it.

P.S. there are two things that, when it comes to wines of Kephalonia are interesting for me:

- the terroir part: understanding the people, culture, place and varieties
- the governance part: how the highly-restrictive PDO is managed as Geographical Indication on the island

P.S.2 PDOs on islands are seldom to be found because it means that all the process has to be made on location, but maybe the island's dimensions help for this.

P.S.3 also I would love to see whether there are pre-phylloxera vineyards or vines, as I suppose @francsdepied

P.S.4 if you personally know any producer there, I am grateful for advices and help.

P.S.5 making memories, as Vana would say @vanagierig

On September 9, we will have the honor of welcoming 18-time GRAMMY® winner PAQUITO D’RIVERA back to Chez Vana, as our special guest.

After our wonderful reunion tour in Europe this summer, which also included @morelenba1 & @viniperc, I couldn’t imagine a better way to continue the journey than bringing this music to the intimacy of the deck ❤️ For this evening, my group will be expanded with strings, allowing us to present the arrangements in their full beauty and creating a very special sound for this intimate setting.

There will be more surprise guests
