We had quite a year, glad you were there every step of the way.

Goodbye to our sweet old Buster. He loved being stinky, sleeping, eating, cleaning, music, making a mess, getting bullied for bowls, barking for more food, and just being a good boy.

He lived a full life and now it’s time to rest easy.

Love you old man, say hi to Lucky for me. 💜

At 7:57pm I said goodbye to my best friend.

Generally I like to keep to myself on here but I thought maybe I would find some catharsis by writing something.

For some time we were fighting the cancer that developed within her. I tried my best to carefully navigate every step and be sure each choice I made was the right one. I did what I can to give us more time. But the bitterness of reality sat in and told me that this was her time to go.

As well as showing me how valuable time really is.
How precious it is.

I value every moment we had. Every bad, every good. Every lesson you taught me. When to have patience, when to not. Who to trust. What to do about a gut feeling. How to take in a moment for what it is.

A part of me is gone now.

To all my friends and family who showed support, I thank you.

To Lucky, I’ll see you later.
I love you.
