🚨 IMPORTANT GRUMPY MONKEY UPDATE 🚨

Hey Grumpy Monkey family! 💜🐵🍪

We wanted to give everyone a quick heads-up about some unexpected changes happening behind the scenes.

Within the last 24 hours, Square rolled out significant changes to its packages and pricing structure. Unfortunately, these changes have made it extremely costly for us to continue using our system the way we currently do.

Because of this, we are temporarily having to pause our individual competition pre-orders while we work on a better solution.

If you have already placed a competition pre-order — DON’T WORRY! Your order is confirmed and will be processed as normal. 🍪✅

We are actively working on a workaround and expect to have an update within the next day or so regarding how competition pre-orders will work moving forward. Our goal is to make the process just as easy and streamlined for our athletes and customers without passing unnecessary costs on to you.

Please bear with us during this frustrating transition as we pivot, make some changes, and get everything back up and running.

We appreciate your patience and continued support of our small business more than you know. 💜

Stay tuned — competition pre-orders WILL be back! 🍪💪

— Grumpy Monkey Cookie Co. 🐵🍪

Shooting Behind-The-Scenes at bodybuilding shows is where the real magic happens. It’s raw, it’s chaotic, and it’s where I connect with some of the most incredible athletes in the game.
I used to warn athletes that backstage shots—dodging shadows in dark venues with zero flash—wouldn't look like my polished studio setups.

But honestly? That gritty, unposed environment produces some of the most authentic and memorable images you can get.

Case in point: this impromptu backstage moment with Hannah. A quick pivot, a few slight adjustments, and BOOM—we caught lightning in a bottle. That single BTS shot sparked a series of killer studio sessions, and the frames just keep leveling up.

Can’t wait for our next one, Hannah!

🚨 Operation Rebuild: As many of you know, my original IG got nuked. If you dig the work, dropping a like, comment, or share goes a massive way in helping me feed the algorithm and rebuild this page from the ground up. Appreciate you all! 🎉

This workout didn’t build my back.

It was built through years of showing up. Through correcting imbalances caused by scoliosis. Through choosing consistency long after motivation wore off.

People admire the result. They don’t always see the years spent becoming the person capable of creating it.

So the next time you compare yourself to someone else, remember this:
You’re seeing a snapshot.
Not the story.

Keep showing up. One ordinary workout at a time.

The Northwest region already has 4 Masters Triple Crown champions and 7 in the Open! What a tremendous first half of the year! Travis Carlton is in the lead for Open points and once again, Sheryl Guyon is dominating in the Masters category.

Next weekend at the @wastateopen, more points will be earned. The Northwest Triple Crown award ceremony will take place on Sunday, November 8 at the Northwest Natural in Federal Way, WA. Custom awards are already in the works!

Left: 2023 prep for North Americans
Right: 2025 prep for North Americans

Never a loss. Always improving.

From show one in 2016 to show 15 in 2025, every experience has made me better physically and mentally.

This sport is about building and refining as humans.

When the student is ready the teacher appears. Always great to confirm what I’m teaching is correct or I gotta fix it and recalibrate then I apply as a coach or competitor. What’s been going on with me since competition?
One month post show and I’m already missing the stage 🥺 BUT
Really trying to lean into myself and my other hobbies in this time as I continue to grow and improve for my next competition season 🙂‍↕️
I’m taking classes, learning new things, taking on new art projects and staying very busy.
Big things to come ❤️‍🔥

Straight from the message I sent all my girls who competing this weekend @ribicproductions EMERALD CUP

💌Happy 2 days out!!!!!

If you’re feeling a little more emotional this week, that is completely normal. I can’t even tell you how many times I cried during peak week.

The work is done.

And while some coaches say things like “going for blood,” “coming for it all,” “going to war”… 😆😂
all I want to tell you is:

LET’S HAVE SOME FUN.

This journey is so personal. You have nothing left to prove. By making it to this finish line, you are already the winner, the elite, the 1%.

You are no longer the dreamer.
You are officially the do-er.

Remind yourself:
“I’m just happy to be here.”

The privilege of having the financial means, the physical health, and the support system (big or small) to pursue something like this… wow. That is a blessing.

Before you leave for the show, double-check your bag and make sure you have the essentials:
suit, heels, jewelry (and backups if you have them).
Everything else can be replaced, just not those.

I cannot wait to spend this weekend with all of you.
Safe travels, and please text me if you need anything at all.

Much love and so incredibly proud of you. 💛
