Becoming an object, September 2026.

This weekend i had the chance to present a little project i did while hanging out with @sarah_mahlberg at the cozy apartment group exhibition of @ke_kras and @o.k.phuong

Becoming an object (2026): Drawing on Didier Eribon’s A Working Woman, this self-published zine explores the sexual gaze and desire: How are bodies looked at, desired, and reduced to individual traits? Through collage, layering, and visible traces of cutting and assembly, it connects social objectification with the artistic process and asks when something becomes an object.

We just wrapped our next film and it's not an empty phrase to say that I'm beyond grateful for all the people that made this possible so far because this film was literally shot against all (!!!) fucking odds. I was lucky to experience a lot of first times – including working with fire, working with stunts, working within the mystery and horror genre while working in my hometown surrounded by people that gave it their all (and with this I really mean their ALL). Thank you for creating something special together, living together, getting to our limits together, even praying together on set. Now since we just moved to our postproduction phase, I can't wait to see it all come together!!

here’s the poster for the group exhibition this weekend! ˙⋆✮⋆˚࿔ mind you neither my friend nor me are a graphic designer lol but I was going for a little tacky anyway~~
we’ll be very loose with time so just let us know when you want to drop by

there will definitely be a short movies screening and zine making / bookbinding session on Friday and possibly also on Saturday, for both Saturday and Sunday we’re open to also do little drawing, lino printing collaging sessions; and you’re welcome to have dinner with us too ❤︎

there will be an art trade table, a sketchbook and zine library to browse through, and also a little art shop, so feel free to bring anything you like to share!
