🎨 The Vandergrift Artfest is an annual event celebrating the artists and local businesses of Vandergrift, PA. This year’s theme is “Beyond The Yellow Brick Road” and the good news… the festivities are still under way!

More Info: The 2023 Vandergrift Artfest will be another engaging and exciting event as we embrace this year’s theme, “Beyond the Yellow Brick Road.” All things Oz will fill the yellow brick road of downtown Vandergrift. We hope that you will plan to join us on Sunday, July 30th from noon to 9 pm. Artists and crafters will fill the streets, along with local businesses and non-profits. A wide array of food delights will be offered by food trucks and vendors. A main stage and second stage area will bring live music throughout the entire festival. Special activities will be offered for children and families, and we will showcase our local young dancers, too. New this year will be an art show for those who wish to showcase their talents. As always, the festival will be free to attend. Registration is now open! Sponsorship and volunteer opportunities are also available to help make this year’s festival a great success. Come back to visit this site frequently as we bring you details about the annual Palette Project, feature our artists, and share schedules for the day. In the Oz spirit, Artfest will remind us that there’s “no place like home” here in Vandergrift as we bring together the arts, whimsy, and community for this very special day.

Please, feel free to tag me in any photos from the event, if you’re going. I’d love to see them, this looks like tons of fun!

Vandergrift’s Pride in the Park Was a Drag 💃

Last week saw the Vandergrift community come together for their annual Pride in the Park, organized entirely by volunteers and community members for the LGBTQ+ community and the allies who stand with them. We got to speak to some of the drag performers at the event about what both the art form of drag *and* @vandergriftpride meant to them. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Its fruity and its faBOOlous and its just here for ONE DAY

The FRUIT BAT 🦇🍓☕️✨️exclusively for @vandergriftpride
Fruit Loops inspired, its sassy with a bit of flare on top

Available in an espresso latte, matcha, chai, or cold brew
*gf peeps, request fruity pebbles instead of the loops*

This event holds a huge space in my heart. It was my very first event ever, 4 years ago, when all I had was a tent, some cold brew, and a hell of a lot of determination to bring my tiny business to life. Vandy Pride welcomed me with open arms and weve been there every year since.

We dont care who you love, why you love, what shape, size, color you are. We just want everyone to be free to choose how to live their lives. Quietly or out loud n proud.

🏳️‍🌈Happy Vandergrift Pride Day Caffiends!🏳️‍⚧️

We'll see you soon 💀🏳️‍🌈🖤
