Founded by Christina Garcia Lysaught and led alongside Principal Grayson Knight, Layered Dimensions Interior Design is a Dallas-based studio creating custom residences defined by architectural integrity, thoughtful restraint and a deeply personal sense of home.

At the center of the studio is the creative partnership between Christina and Grayson, whose complementary perspectives, and plenty of back-and-forth, shape every project. Both bring a strong understanding of architecture, proportion and function to the design process, while approaching materials, furnishings, art and detail through their own creative lens. Ideas are debated, pushed, edited and occasionally reconsidered altogether, all in pursuit of something better. It’s a collaboration built on mutual respect, creative curiosity and the belief that the strongest interiors rarely come from a single point of view.

That same collaborative spirit extends throughout the Layered Dimensions team and into the client experience, which is highly engaged, organized and personal from the first conversation through installation.

Their work can begin with the architectural framework of a home and continue through bespoke millwork, furnishings, art and the final layer of objects that give a room its character. Rather than designing toward a particular “look,” the studio creates interiors around the people who inhabit them and the way they live, gather and evolve over time.

It’s an approach that leaves room for personality, for the unexpected and for a home to continue telling its story long after the designers have left.
