✨1 Year ago today 🗝️ ✨

On this day in 2024 we collected our keys to what was Millers insurance, formerly Clarks, and The Stores in Hambledon was born again 🌷✨

This year has been incredible, we’ve met so many people we now call friends 🫂 we’ve grown as individuals and as a business, it’s hard to imagine what life was before The Stores. What were we even doing? 🤭

The fact a business like ours can grow here is a testament to the people and spirit of this beautiful village we call home.

Had some helluva helpers on the farm lately! It is such a pleasure to see people get outside, see that they are part of an ecosystem, and get joy out of some hard graft. There were a lot of smiles despite some shitty conditions. Thank you so much!
1. Six refugees from Sudan, Namibia, and Mauritania with an incredible work ethic discussing the UK context of veg growing with Chris and Mark from @hampshirevegbox
2. The amazing Camila from @thestoreshambledon disguised as a bushel of wild oats in relentless drizzle.
3. Two fifteen year old Charlie's and a mountain of ragwort supervised by Alejandro from El Salvador.

Thank you everyone for an amazing night last night as we officially celebrated our opening 🍾✨🪻

This community is so incredible! We are blown away every week by the support and encouragement we receive and last night was the most wonderful display of exactly that. Pure community spirit and joy 🫶🏼
