Summers almost over but if you still find some seasonal peaches, you can make it extra autumny by adding pecans and extra spices to the crisp. The fresh smell of a baked crisp right out of the oven is heavenly. Top it off with some vanilla or caramel ice cream and you have yourself the perfect late summer, almost autumn treat 🍂

Getting ready for spring break? Ellenos is the perfect treat to enjoy at 30K feet! 😉✈️

ICYMI: We‘ve partnered with fellow Northwest favorite @alaskaair! Which means, you can enjoy a cup of Ellenos Yogurt at 30,000 feet on select morning flights out of Seattle.

Yeah I’m adventuring taking landscape and outdoor sport photos @alpine_explorer but then I also love documenting elopements and engagements with outdoor loving couples @cherlynelizaphoto and I’m a homebody who likes to bake intricate desserts @vanillawhisk

It is honestly not easy to juggle this on top of normal life and a 9-5 kind of job but I love it! Anyone else feel the same?

This is my favorite go-to backpacking meal when you don’t want to think and have a gourmet meal in a few minutes! I just always happen to use @traderjoes items for this. Here’s my recipe:
1. Break capellini/angel hair pasta in thirds and boil for a few minutes till soft (this is the fastest cooking pasta and packs well, so I highly recommend it) we used about 1/2-2/3 lb of dry pasta for 3 people
2. Make more batches and dish out to peoples bowls if your pot is small like mine
3. Add pesto per bowl and stir (I love the little jars but it’s glass so it adds weight)
4. Add canned salmon. This packs well and has tabs! We used one little can for 3 people.
5. Add (and cook) veggies as preferred. This time we opted for some cherry tomatoes
6. Mix and enjoy while it’s hot! 🍝

Let me know what you think of this backpacking meal!

You can also swap out salmon for canned chicken but imo it’s not as tasty. If adding more veggies, pre cut at home and lightly boil it with the pasta! Broccoli, bell peppers, mushrooms, and zucchini work well for this!

Traditions + sweet treats? We love to see it! Many families gather over delicious, fresh-from-the-oven hot cross buns today and throughout the weekend. We can practically smell this batch by @vanillawhisk through our screen.

Don’t take yourself to seriously 🤪 Inspired by @lynnrococo’s version set to the audio, I couldn’t help but do a compilation of the times I tried to do self timer photos without a tripod. Rocks have been my friend when I’ve been on solo hikes or early wake ups 😆 but I promise you when I’m behind the camera it’s sooo much better. Should I post a good version in series with this silly one?

Oh also the first/cover image is not self timed. PC @ajmcdreamz with an iPhone!
