Our 2026 Wildcard joining our four heat winners is...

🥁
🏆 @vanityprojectband!

A really tough choice as there were some incredible performances during the heats, but there's only room for one wildcard. They progress to next month's Grand Final at @exeterphoenix. See you there 👀

Ever wondered what a recording session actually sounds like in the room? 🎙️🥁

Here’s a behind the scenes from a recent tracking session with @vanityprojectband at Muddy Road Studios.

Playing live together to keep the drummer on his toes and energised. We can reamp the guitars later.

You can hear the vocals and a cracking clear drum sound filling the live room, but there’s a lot more being captured behind the scenes with each element recorded to its own track, ready to be brought together in the mix.

Just a little glimpse of a song before it becomes the final recorded, and mastered version! 🎶

🔥 JURASSIC FIELDS FESTIVAL 2026 🔥

What an absolute BLAST yesterday! 🎤🙌

Lee Pashley as Robbie Williams – He’s The One had the pleasure of being invited to perform at Jurassic Fields Festival, and wow… The Smugglers Inn tent absolutely WENT OFF! 🔥🔥🔥

The crowd interaction was unreal, the arms were in the air, the volume kept rising, and with the heat, energy and love inside that tent, the place was POUNDING! ❤️🎶

This is exactly the kind of crowd I love performing to — up for it from the first song and giving everything back. The whole festival vibe fits me and my show 100%.

Massive thank you to everyone who packed into the tent, sang, danced and made it such a memorable show. 🙏

Jurassic Fields… I’d LOVE to come back! 🦖🎪🔥

If you like your Saturday nights loud, we have something for you.🎸

Vanity Proj3ct are a five-piece from East Devon, bringing a raw, high-energy indie rock sound that pulls from the Chili Peppers, Arctic Monkeys and Blur all at once. They formed in 2024, reached the final of the Devon Battle of the Bands, and have been making a lot of noise ever since.

They join us this Saturday as part of BACbeat, our Young Bands Summer Showcase. Come and hear what Devon's new rock scene sounds like right now.
