Sunday ink splats and first time celebrating #stellarnibsunday

Pens aren’t all about their pretty houses. Like muscle cars and their engines, it’s what’s under the hood and the speed from 0-to-60 mph that matters in fountain pen writing. Picking the right ink for the nib and the nib’s interaction with your handwriting is where it is at to experience one of the best tactical activities I participate in daily.

This is the new Lamy cursive nib and I like it so much I’ve been through two ink refills already using it. For under $20, I’ve got a new pen that lets me write beautifully with lighter inks!!

Oh noticed @wearingeul_global ‘Alice’ ink did you? I’ve been waiting for this beauty to arrive for over a month. Very close to ‘Lost’ but with a gold shimmer. This is one magic potion I’m glad I ordered a bottle to have my pens drink. What words am I writing? I’m repeating to myself 100 times, “I will rarely buy another bottle of ink without seeing a sample first” I do adore my color exploration splatters on Sunday and a sampling makes the adventure much more affordable. Guess I’m kind of a “one and done” kinda girl

Hope your Sunday is a stellar as mine 🖊

Write your destiny in the stars ✨

This collection of beauties from Jie is spellbinding. I’m thinking of a year-end letter to myself to hold all my intentions for the upcoming year and what my ‘One Word’ will be for 2022. This year’s was Grace. Have you decided on your intentions for 2022 or your ‘One Word’?

Swipe ⬅️ to see how I captured GRACE in my journal to begin this year ✨

“... I’m more than my accomplishments ...” ~Simone Biles
.
For the first time in her life, with the outpouring of support from the community, Simone Biles realized, she is a human BE-ing first. Not a human DOING.
You are ENOUGH and if that’s not believable to you yet, whisper to yourself one of my favorite reminders, “God doesn’t make junk.” So hug yourself today and repeat after me, “I AM enough” “I AM enough”
.
Remember it’s a process. And we keep revisiting lessons until we learn them (sometimes the very hard way) Have super day. You’re amazing

One of the most effective tools in your life change arsenal is @msrachelhollis daily practice of writing “10 Dreams I made Happen”
.
.
.
Research shows that taking pen to paper and writing reinforces beliefs and attitudes. And one way to do so for 2020 is use the #StartToday system of journals from #theholliscompany. Appearing in Target beginning January 1st. .
.
.
The presale was sold out in minutes but if you miss these preprinted beauties in your store, any notebook will work. You can easily replicate her technique - the magic is in the repetition. Here’s to a happy and healthy 2020 everyone!
