What a year…

Started it off with a house fire at 3am on the morning of January 27th, let’s just say that was a bit of an eye opener. I won’t go into details but I was privileged to walk out of that situation with minor injuries and most importantly, ALIVE.

Started getting outside about as soon as it got warm and started hitting the trails and my favorite forage spots as I always do in the spring. Ended up having my most successful Morel/Mushroom season I’ve had in my life thus far, and got to bring my pal in on it!

Continued the momentum and stayed outside during summer as much as I could, I could feel the sunshine melting the stress away. Stayed focused on the trails and my gardening, playing in dirt might be the most relaxing thing ever lol.

I was then reborn at the end of September. Me and Erick decided we were gonna send it out to Yellowstone and see what we could see! This was probably the best decision either of us have made in our lives, not to be cheesy, but we both left former versions of ourselves behind after that, and the purpose of life only became stronger and clearer the more we got lost.

Now to current time, I’ve found the people I want to be part of my life. I’ve figured out what I want my life to look and feel like going forward. I stopped listening to the outside static and tuned into my own station, I intend to stay there as well. 2025 was crazy for me, ups and downs as usual, new people, old friends, dropping of things that don’t serve or lift in a positive light.

If you are coming into 2026 with me, I appreciate you more then you know, and I may not talk to all of you as much as I should but remember the love doesn’t waver💙. For the people I left behind, I almost want to thank you more, I don’t hold bad blood towards any of it anymore, I just truly appreciate the lessons that came out of those situations.

Anyways yall I’ll prolly be signed out for a while finding myself in places far and long away, 2026 is gonna be a fun one:)
