Community

A word thrown around so easily, but one that holds so much meaning to us 🤎

Everyone talks about community

Everyone claims to have one, but a true community isn’t something you simply say you have. It’s something you build, nurture and earn 💌

It’s in the friendships, the support and the genuine connections and the feeling of belonging to something bigger than just a gym.

We’ve spent years building something that can’t be bought, copied or created overnight.

Community isn’t a marketing word to us, it’s the heart of everything we do.

And that’s something we’ll never take for granted 🤎

This is what Whyte Films was made for. Bringing a community together, meeting likeminded people and getting sick photos while we’re at it.

We are so excited to hold more of these events this year and for the next coming years as well!

Will we see you at the next group shoot?

More than a workout.

A space that makes you feel stronger, lighter, grounded and connected.

Beautiful people, insane energy, heat, movement and the kind of classes you walk out of feeling different.

Welcome to Baeside Hot ❤️‍🔥

this one’s personal…

———

Jan 2025, i started the 75hard challenge
to build better habits and take back control after a rough breakup.

i finished it - and kept going.

and god knows the 2025 that followed (lmao)
life threw a lot at me, and i turned to fitness as a coping mechanism.

and somewhere along the way… it stopped being healthy.

overtraining. under-fuelling. barely resting.
i became the leanest i’ve ever been - but also the most unhealthy and disconnected from myself.
i told myself it was discipline, that i was so “locked in”.

by late 2025, my body was in full survival mode -
simple cuts wouldn’t heal.
sleep felt impossible.
i was running on caffeine, stress & high cortisol.

and at the same time… my body dysmorphia was the worst it’s ever been
picking myself apart in photos, in mirrors, in moments that should’ve felt good.

i got plenty of compliments for looking “my best” - but felt my worst.

it took a hospital admission to finally snap me out of it - being told my lifestyle was making my existing health condition worse.

so i made a change

i started listening to my body.
i slowed down.
i rested, i ate.
i started training for strength, not aesthetics.
and learnt to celebrate my body for 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙩 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙙𝙤, not just 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙩 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚.

no announcement. no dramatic reset.
just months of choosing, everyday, to be a little kinder to myself.

and now… i can honestly say i am the healthiest & strongest i’ve ever been.
physically, mentally, emotionally.

when i got these photos back, i actually cried bc it was the first time in a long time i looked through a gallery and didn’t tear myself apart.

i saw strength. progress.
and i saw every version of me that got me here:

the one that took the first step
the one that struggled
the one that pushed too far
and the one who finally learned to soften

this body carried me through all of it - even when i wasn’t kind to her
and for once… i’m finally on her side 🤍

if this feels or sounds familiar
if you’re in that place right now - doing the most and still feeling like it’s not enough..

i hope you learn to be gentler with yourself, sooner than i did x

- V 💌
