WOW! Absolutely loads of fresh music pouring into OnionUnlimited Radio over the past few days. What's happening folks?!

We're only a small team of two (husband and wife Daniel and Mariella)—a proper indie outfit! We're working as fast as we can to process all the submissions.

If your song is accepted for airplay or for addition to one of our Spotify playlists, we will announce it on this page, tag you in, and, where possible, add your music from the Instagram library. So please be sure to follow.

We DO NOT charge for airplay on OnionUnlimited Radio. None of our artists is paying to be played or promoted more than another, and we don't favour any specific genre. We play everything—Rock, Pop, Blues, Country, Metal, Rap, and more—all mashed up into one giant melting pot of Aussie-indie talent. We love it all!

If you're someone who prefers to listen by genre, please check out our new website at indieMX.com, where we'll be creating genre-specific playlists for off-air listening. Submissions are now open there too.

How our curation process works: We listen to every track we receive. If we like it, or think our audience will like it, we approve it for rotation or playlisting. Simple.

⛔️ No pay-to-play.
⛔️ No pay-to-list.
⛔️ No charge to be promoted on our socials.

For radio, we're fully licensed (self-funded) with APRA AMCOS and PPCA, so if your song is registered with either collection society, please let us know during the submission process so we can log and report every airplay for your songwriting/recording royalties.

While this is a curated service—not one you can buy your way in to—the overall quality of the music we receive is extremely high, and we honestly approve/queue most songs. We may occasionally reject a song, for example, if the quality of the recording is simply not suitable for airplay, but this is very rare. So please send us your music to review!

Our aim is to give Australian independent artists a station that will play their original songs, 24/7. No ads, news, or weather cutting into the songs. No mainstream or "classic hits" to give listeners something familiar—just great, original, independent music. A genuine discovery channel!
