💜 Wellness Wednesday is back 🍊

Round two with Othership Yorkville and we couldn’t be more excited to do it all over again.

We’re starting the night with a 5K social run through Yorkville, then heading into Othership for a Transformation experience with guided breathwork, saunas, cold plunges, and a chance to completely reset. 🏃‍♀️🔥❄️🧘

Come with friends or come solo. You don’t need to know anyone, you don’t need to be the fastest runner you just have to show up.

Halcyon Hills was created around the idea of finding peace in the midst of figuring life out.

In the day to day work. In the early mornings. In the training blocks. In the quiet moments where the road ahead feels intimidating and the journey can feel like something you have to face alone.

But maybe we were never meant to walk it alone.

We find peace in solitude, while realizing there is still community around us. Different paths, different seasons, different struggles, but a lot of the same feelings along the way.

As Halcyon Hills grows, we want to share the stories of people moving through their own hills and valleys. The work they put in, the things they’re figuring out, and the moments that bring them peace.

Not because everyone’s journey looks the same, but because hearing someone else’s story can remind us that we’re not the only ones figuring it out.

Our first hat reflects that idea.

Made from genuine Realtree camo fabric, every hat is cut from the same material, yet no two hats are constructed exactly the same. Each one carries a different pattern, a different composition, a different expression of the same fabric.

Much like us.

Different stories. Different paths. But somewhere in the process, we find that the journey connects us.

August 19, 2026 marked one year since I became the host of @reeltalkshoww and I wanted to take a moment to share what this past year has meant to me. ❤️🎬

For as long as I can remember, movies have been one of the biggest parts of my life. And for almost as long, I’ve wanted to find a way to create around that love.

But weirdly, I was always hesitant.

As someone who also dreamed of being an actor, there was a part of me that worried about putting myself in a box. I didn’t know what making movie content could look like for me without feeling like I was choosing one dream over another.

Then the opportunity to host Reel Talk came along.

What started as a chance to stand in front of a camera, play some movie trivia and talk about something I love somehow became one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Over the past year, this little movie trivia show has put me in rooms I never could’ve imagined. I’ve gotten to sit across from people I’ve admired for years, meet some of the most talented and interesting people, laugh until my face hurt, completely embarrass myself from time to time, and have conversations I’ll genuinely remember forever.

But more than anything, Reel Talk gave me a place where all the different parts of me could exist at once. The host. The actor. The filmmaker. The movie nerd. The kid who just really, really loved going to the cinema. 🥹

Turns out I never had to choose.

I’m so grateful to everyone who has watched an episode, shared a clip, played along in the comments, joined us as a guest, or been part of making this show what it is. And especially to @mahadaamir and @iansaunders_ of @jollyfishstudioo who took a chance on me and handed me the mic in the first place. It’s a blessing to be able to work with friends like you. Not to mention the shoes I had to fill of the talented @yuvirayz, who has been an inspiration to me from the moment we met in that TIFF Rush Line years ago.

A year ago, I had no idea where this would take me. And somehow, I feel like we’re only getting started. ❤️
