A huge thank you to my friend Christophe Gentizon for giving me this magnificent Radical Rick book by the amazing artist Damian X Fulton! This book is a very special gift for me because, as a young boy, I was so captivated by the comic strips in Bicross Magazine by the master Yann Renauld, aka "OTB," and by those of the extraordinary artist Damian in BMX Plus magazine. This book compiles 154 Radical Rick episodes. If I draw now, it's largely thanks to these two artists who inspire us so much with their art! Thank you, Zon, for this wonderful gift!

And the icing on the cake: a message from me about Damian and his work on the back cover... truly touching.

Never stop learning — and never stop trying new things 🚀

Not my first time on a pumptrack… but definitely the first time with the right bike (thanks to @vansman & @asso_cycliste_vd 🙌) — and the first time I finally understood why it’s actually called a pumptrack. 😅

It’s not about pedaling — it’s all about pumping. You push with your legs, your arms, your whole body to gain speed and keep the flow going. Way more technical (and physical!) than it looks.

But why do it? What’s the point ?
Well, turns out it’s a great way to improve bike handling, understand how your bike moves, and most importantly: it seriously helps with cornering, which is something we all can use more confidence in, right? 😉

So no, it wasn’t about going fast, it was about learning. And having fun.
Huge thanks to former vice world champ & 4x Swiss champ @tristanborel85 for the tips (don’t judge me by this video — one of my first runs 😅), and to the always-stoked @lausannegravel crew for a fun night out on a different kind of track 💖

Would you try it ?

What a pump-tastic night! 🔥
Our Lausanne Gravel crew hit the pumptrack for an unforgettable evening of skill-building, speed, and laughs — with coaching from none other than @tristanborel85 , former vice world champion and 4x Swiss champ! 🇨🇭

Big thanks to @vansman and the @asso_cycliste_vd (ACCV) for making this happen as well as the support by @benjy5398 🙏🏽🤟

From mastering the basics to flying through the rollers, the progress was real — and the closing mini-comp added jus 🚀🎸

My Swiss people know me too well. Not sure if that’s good or bad🤷🏼‍♂️. I get a message from @igor.vasquez with this pic. He said they are installing the turn 1 bar at the track and thought of me😁. Let’s gooooo!! Gonna be some fun racing in Europe again. #internationalbmxacademy
