Every ambitious person should try it.

Most people won’t do what we do because of the FOMO. Missing the parties, the trips, the summer nights with their friends. And honestly, I felt it too. Every weekend I saw the stories and the plans I wasn’t part of.

But here’s what I learned: the FOMO lasts a summer. What you build could last forever.

When it’s time to go all in and you actually go all in, it pays off.

After my first ever year in sales and my first year in D2D, I can say that one summer of door to door will change you, for your own personal growth.

The best lessons are taught when you’re in an uncomfortable place, in a difficult environment where most people would think they’re in a position to fail.

Your friends will still be there next summer. The person you become stays with you.

Grateful for this summer and for everyone who pushed me along the way.

It’s very easy to get caught up in the numbers of the job. But the reality is every year the requirements for the golden door have gotten stricter and stricter. However every year there’s more golden doors. My first golden door- in 2021 there were 20 of us for pest control. Last year there was almost 100.
The golden door is 25% skill and the rest is sheer determination to not give up on your goals, regardless of any other external or internal factors.

If you are looking for one on one coaching, or feel that burning desire to prove to yourself or others that you know you can get do more, I’d love to jump on a call and see if we’d be a good fit for each other in helping make that happen! Or if you don’t feel the urge to hit a golden door, but know that you can sell better than what you’ve been able to do in the past, and don’t think that your current manager can get you there, or hasn’t done it himself, I’d also love to chat!

That’s a wrap on September, what a month ☀️🍂

I just wanna make a comment real quick on how happy and grateful I am to have everybody that I have right now. My relationships with God and the people in my life mean everything to me and I have so much to be happy about. This month was one for the books for sure. Shoutout to my friends and family for making it so 🫶 let’s run it back in October!

Summer 2026 was a wild ride.

3 different states, 100+ degree days, rainstorms, soaked shoes, broken Segways, my car getting totaled 2 months in, next car getting chained to a dumpster bin, tens of thousands of doors knocked, countless rejections, and plenty of long days.

Through all of it, I couldn’t be more grateful for the people around me, my team, and the opportunities I’ve been able to share with others at @vantage.mktg.

Even more grateful for my partners, my family, and the endless support from my phenomenal fiancée through all of it.

God is good, and every day is a blessing.

A lot of goals achieved and milestones hit this summer, but the job’s not finished.

Great things to come. 🤝
