![I was really disappointed when we finished our race because we aimed for a sub 120 time, so much so that you could tell from my face in the pictures!
To me, this was not a win!! (Bummer)
but then I thought of my first day of training on June 2nd, we were doing a 30 mins AMRAP, 4 stations, 300 m runs in between! After the first round, @vikrantrajput027 my trainer, was sure I’ll pass out.
That was also the day when he said, how do you not know how to catch a ball!!! Cut to a week before Hyrox, I told him i did an easy 7k run (easy!), i had finished 2 full simulations alone at the gym by now, and he simply said, next time Solo karenge, I know you can do it.
To my super competitive self, this may not seem a victory, but to the 13 years old Srishti, who sucked at Badminton, the 23 years old Srishti who thought she would pass out doing inclined walks, and to the June 2nd Srishti, who really did puke her guts out after the session, this is a win, not a big win, but a win for sure.
Ab kya, kal se fir, 100 wall balls for warm up shuru :)
Kudos to @vanzzarora_ for putting up with me and being the best hyrox partner i could ask for.
