If you ask me what event I look forward to the most every year in Bangkok, @bkkbarshow is definitely one of my favorites! 🍸✨

Every year, Bangkok turns into one big celebration of cocktail culture!

This year’s BKK Bar Show takes place at Anantara Siam Bangkok, bringing together spirits brands, talented bartenders, and cocktail lovers from around the world.

What makes it so exciting is the opportunity to discover unique spirits, explore creative cocktails, and hear the stories and inspiration behind each drink.

There are also tastings and masterclasses that remind us how much creativity, craftsmanship, and culture can be found in a single glass.

But for me, one of the best parts is reconnecting with bartender friends from around the world and meeting new people who share the same passion.

And when the sun goes down, Bangkok’s nightlife gets even more exciting!

From international guest shifts to exclusive cocktails and unforgettable parties, the celebration continues late into the night.

I’ve always believed that the beauty of cocktail culture goes beyond what’s in the glass.

It’s about the people we meet, the stories we share, and the memories we create along the way.

And that’s exactly why I look forward to BKK Bar Show every single year! ❤️🥂

.
A little jazz, a little chaos, and a whole lot of cocktails.
From New Orleans roots to modern-day fusion, Crimson Room is turning 7 with a night that sounds as good as it tastes. Come for the cocktails, stay for the music, and let the night evolve. 🎷✨

Sometimes, what makes a dinner truly memorable isn’t just the food, but the stories hidden within every glass of wine. 🍷🤍

Recently, I had the pleasure of attending a beautiful French wine dinner at @signaturerestaurantbkk , a one-Michelin-star restaurant in Bangkok.

Hosted by the French wine group Groupe Grands Chais de France (GCF) in collaboration with Thai wine distributor @wsdthai Wine & Spirit Distribution, the evening introduced us to two wonderful Bordeaux estates — Château Cantin and Château Faizeau.

Each wine carries its own character, shaped by the land, traditions, and stories behind it.

What I was most looking forward to was discovering how Chef @drapeauthierry Drapeau would bring these wines to life through his culinary creations.

From delicate scallops and aromatic black truffle eggs to beautifully prepared duck and foie gras, every dish felt like a gentle conversation with the wine in our glasses.

I’ve always loved the art of food and wine pairing.

It’s fascinating how the same glass of wine can reveal an entirely different personality when paired with the right dish.

Perhaps that’s the most romantic thing about food and wine — how they allow us to travel through flavors, discover different cultures, and experience stories from places far away, all in a single evening. 🍷✨

SKAI ISYOURGOD
22 AUGUST — KUALA LUMPUR

Starting to think KL might be one of the best places for concert tourism too. Around £80pp for VIP, meet & greet + a T-shirt? Hard to argue with.

Who’s touring next year? Apparently I’ll come to you…

If you want to know which bars, bartenders, and nightlife trends are shaping Bangkok right now, this is definitely an event worth knowing.

This time, I joined the @bkmagazine BK B.A.D. Awards 2026, also known as the Bangkok After Dark Awards. It’s not just about choosing the “best bar” or the “best drink.” The awards look at the whole nightlife experience — from cocktails, design, music, and atmosphere to the overall identity of each venue.

This year, the ceremony was held at TRIBE Sky Beach Club, and the whole night really felt like Bangkok after dark. Bartenders, bar owners, industry people, and so many familiar faces from the nightlife scene all came together in one place.

What I personally loved most is that it felt like more than just an awards ceremony. It was almost like an annual gathering of Bangkok’s entire bar community.

You could really see how nightlife in Bangkok is evolving beyond just drinking. It’s becoming more about creativity, design, music, atmosphere, and a complete lifestyle experience.

So for me, this night wasn’t only about seeing who won. It was also about seeing where Bangkok’s nightlife scene is heading next.

這次我來參加 BK B.A.D. Awards 2026，也就是 Bangkok After Dark Awards。

Before I even sat down for dinner, I was already completely won over by the aroma coming from the outdoor grill.

This time, I came to @siamkempinski for Ebony Black Angus – ON FIRE in Bangkok @thejagota.official
The evening started outdoors, where the chefs were grilling and carving the meat right in front of us. The smell of charcoal, smoke, and sizzling beef fat filled the air, and the whole atmosphere instantly pulled you in.

What I really loved about this dinner was that it wasn’t just about serving one dish after another. From the very beginning, you could really feel the theme of fire and smoke running through the whole experience. Different cuts and different cooking techniques brought out completely different textures and aromas.

Of course, one of the biggest highlights for me was the grilled Angus tomahawk. The texture, the doneness, and that rich beefy flavor were all so satisfying. With all the smoky aromas and live-fire energy from earlier in the evening, it really felt like the perfect climax to the dinner.

I personally love this kind of dining experience because it goes beyond simply thinking, “This is a good piece of beef.” It actually lets you experience how much personality Angus beef can have through different levels of heat, smoke, and cooking techniques.

From the outdoor grill to the dishes on the table, the whole evening was such a memorable experience. If you’re a beef lover, this is definitely the kind of dinner you would really enjoy.

What happens when French cuisine meets Thai cuisine—and even brings insects and caviar together on the same plate?

This was a truly rare Michelin collaboration.
When @bluebyalainducasse @evens_lopez met @akkee.thaidelicacies @sittikornc , the boundaries between French and Thai cuisine disappeared, leaving only a series of exciting and unexpected culinary creations.

To begin, each chef prepared three different canapés.
The biggest surprise for me was silkworm pupae paired with caviar. Just hearing “silkworm pupae” sounded a little intimidating, but once I tasted it, there was none of the insect-like sensation I had imagined. Instead, it was crispy and delicate, with the savory richness of the caviar coming together beautifully.

Next came lightly smoked mackerel with caviar and subterranean ants, followed by a wild mushroom galette with crickets.

What fascinated me most was that the insects were never there simply for shock value.
Through refined French techniques, Thai local ingredients were deconstructed and reimagined in such a thoughtful way that the elements I was initially hesitant about slowly became something that made me excited to discover what would come next.

Then came blue lobster with pumpkin curry and Thai basil, followed by pigeon with Northern Thai sausage and blackberry—both showcasing the finesse of French cuisine alongside the bold yet beautifully balanced flavors of Thailand.

The evening ended on a refreshing note with custard apple, mangosteen, and coconut, followed by petit fours.

What I experienced that night was more than French cuisine meeting Thai cuisine.
It was two cultures letting go of boundaries and creating a truly borderless culinary dialogue, one extraordinary dish at a time. 🇫🇷🇹🇭✨
