Some announcements feel a little more personal 🌻

@arijitsingh is going on tour across India.
For some of us, this is almost a decade of being part of a journey we’ve felt very lucky to witness up close. We’ve seen the songs become memories, watched audiences grow, and stood in rooms where thousands of people have sung every word back to him.

And through all of it, we’ve remained fans. That feeling, the magic of seeing it happen live tour after tour - is what keeps us pushing for more.

We get to take that feeling across India, once more. This time with something we’ve built with a lot of love @get.thumpn

Couldn’t be more proud or grateful for what’s coming.

Ambition & Actuality: The Economics of International Touring brings together Achyuth Jaigopal and Kishan John of When Chai Met Toast, Gurdip Narang and Aaron Pinto of Gutslit, with moderator Nikhil Udupa, Director & Founder of 4/4 Experiences and Control ALT Delete, to unpack what actually goes into taking Indian artists overseas.

A candid conversation about the business behind international touring, the costs people don’t always see, the decisions artists and teams have to make, and what it really takes to build a sustainable touring career beyond India.

Building a Soundtrack Universe: Music Supervision Through Vaazha 2 takes you behind the creative process with Ankit Menon, Music Composer, Producer and Music Supervisor, as he breaks down the role of music in shaping the world of a film.

Using Vaazha 2 as a case study, the session explores how songs are discovered, selected and placed, how artists and sounds are brought into the story, and how music supervision can influence the identity and emotional journey of a film.
Moderated by Vishruti Bindal, Independent Music Supervisor and Co-Founder of Linear Festivals, this is a closer look at the decisions that happen behind the soundtrack.

Tag it. Track it. Get Paid. How Metadata Gets You Paid gets into the part of the music business that rarely gets the spotlight, but can make a very real difference to your royalties.

Jataneel Banerjee, Senior Relationship Manager Asia at PRS for Music, breaks down how metadata moves through the music ecosystem, why accurate song and rights information matters, where things can go wrong, and how artists, publishers and rights holders can make sure their work is properly identified, tracked and monetized.
