Xioni Greek Goddess of Snow - our film is about to celebrate its online premiere soon! A ski movie from the unknown Greek backcountry! #XIONIfilm #skigreece #rawadventure #femalefilmmakers #indifilmmakers #indifilm #greece #splitboarding #snowboarding #backcountry #thankyousnowboarding
XIONI is a quiet, cinematic journey into the unknown winter landscapes of Greece.
No sponsors. No guides. No film crew — just a crazy idea: what if we just go?
We travel by van, on foot, and on skis, following rough maps and vague ideas through forests, goat paths, and remote landscapes.
Our film is raw, unfiltered, and deeply authentic, celebrating recreationalism in its purest.
…

Xioni a backcountry ski movie - out now on Youtube (Link in Bio)

Skitouren in Griechenland ?!

Ski touring in Greece ?! With the van, splitboard and touring skis on an expedition through the Greek backcountry. If you haven’t experienced it yourself, it’s hard to believe, but there really is snow in Greece, even enough for freeriding. In search of Xioni (Chioni), the goddess of snow, we set off on a backcountry expedition in the Greek mountains this winter. In the first part, we take you to three peaks on the Peloponnese and the mainland (Ziria, Kalavrita and Parnassos).
