In no particular order, I’ve finally put together my fall TBR list. 🍁📚🍂

Some of these have been sitting in my kindle for a while, some are new authors to me, & then there’s the..if they wrote it, I’m reading it! 🫶🏾

Are any of these on your tbr or have you read them already?!

Another month, another reminder that Black romance continues to give us RANGE.

We can have billionaires and everyday women.

We can have tropical vacations and complicated family histories.

We can have ridiculous rom-com moments and conversations about healing, self-worth, emotional availability, and what it means to love someone well.

That’s why I’ll always advocate for supporting the authors creating these stories.

If a book made you laugh, cry, scream at your Kindle, kick your feet, or stare at the wall questioning somebody’s life choices…

Tell somebody about it. 😂

📖 Buy the book when you can.
⭐ Leave a thoughtful review.
📱 Share the author’s work.
💬 Recommend it to your romance-loving friend.
🖤 Support indie and Black authors whenever you’re able.

Every share, review, recommendation, and purchase helps another reader discover a story they might never have found otherwise.

🔗 in bio for full reviews & rating! 👌🏾

So tell me: What was your September read that had you completely invested? And which of these needs to go straight onto my TBR? 👀📚

📚🌴 MEET THE AUTHOR: VASALONA COOPER

One of my favorite things about showing up to literary events is discovering a book AND getting to meet the person who wrote it.

I recently had the opportunity to connect with Vasalona Cooper, author of Meet Me in Maui, at Booknik and yes, a copy absolutely came home with me.

Because apparently my TBR wasn’t already disrespectful enough.

But this is exactly what TMGLS Authors™ is about.

📚 Discover the books.
✍🏾 Meet the people behind them.
💕 Introduce readers to authors they may not have discovered otherwise.

Meet Me in Maui is officially on my TBR, and once I crack it open, y’all already know we’re coming back with the receipts.

Readers: Have you read Meet Me in Maui yet? NO SPOILERS, but tell me if I need to move it to the top of the pile.

Authors: Want us to discover your book next? Tap the link in bio → Submit Your Book to TMGLS. 💜

One of my latest pickups from Booknik is Meet Me in Maui by @vasalonacooper . 🌴💕 And between this cover, the title, and the promise of a little romance? Yeahhhh…she came home with me.

One of the things I want to do with TMGLS Authors™ is make discovering books part of the fun—not just the books everybody is already talking about, but the stories and authors you may not have come across yet.

So consider this your first little “Look what I found!” from the TMGLS Authors bookshelf. 👀📖

I’ll be sharing my thoughts once I get into it, because around here we don’t just BUY books and let them decorate the house.

…Okay, sometimes we do. 😭😂

💕 READER CTA: Have you read Meet Me in Maui? No spoilers, but tell me what you thought!

📚 AUTHOR CTA: Indie authors, want your book on our radar? Submit your book through the link in bio for TMGLS review consideration.
